Just got through and they gave me a revised figure- very slightly more than my original letter.

If I'm working mine out correctly it should be 8 percent of the interest calculated x 14.5 years roughly (Oct 06 - June 21). On the letter it looks about half as much as it should be. 

If we are eligible for 8% compensation, you would need to work out the interest you paid each year and add on the 8% compensation annually. It would not be the total interest x number of years x 8%. I am not trying to be clever , I just don't want anyone raising their expectations.

Let's hope we all get some refund soon. 

That would make more sense! Think Im confusing the definition of simple interest!!

Finally got through…. They said they didn’t have a revised figure to give me but said every case is different so it might just be mine hasn’t changed?
Apparently letters will arrive 7-10 working days (from Monday 5th July).
Letters confirm payment amount and will still be paid within 10 working days of date on letter (so anyone owed money should receive it by 19th July).
It is possible money will be in your bank before you receive the letter.
Apparently they are getting more info all the time, she told me if I call back later it is possible my letter will be uploaded and they would have additional info.

I think that’s everything, I hope that helps some of you.
