Court stage (and pre-action) is fully covered in the second post of the NEWBIES thread that we don't repeat in individual threads (no time, that's why we have the NEWBIES thread).
It includes a section with a heading in red: 'IMPORTANT! Know what happens when!' So it's good you want to be prepared. That's what you must read.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD1 -
It finally arrived!
I'll have a read through the Newbies section and figure out where we go from there.
Am I okay to ask questions at the very least if I don't understand?0 -
I wonder what 'it' is? Care to enlighten us?1

@KeithP the County Court Claim Form!
Weeks, if not months, ago I was told it was being sent. I thought they had bottled it but apparently not.
I have completed AOS so just working on the defence. Am I as well to post up a redacted defence on here, or should I PM it to someone to overview (assuming they are happy to of course)?0 -
What is the Issue Date on your County Court Claim Form?
Upon what date did you file an Acknowledgment of Service?
Your MCOL Claim History will have the definitive answer to that.

Filed today. With a Claim Issue Date of 26th November, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Wednesday 29th December 2021 to file your Defence.
That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.2 -

Nothing is new here. For example, just this afternoon I have posted guidance on deadlines and how to file a Defence on two other threads apart from yours.1
