Can't really see any problems of being close to the velux to the side. Potentially more of a problem if the panels are above the velux.
Difficult to say but assuming the wires are at least 1m away from the panels, the shading will be fairly diffuse due to scattering.0 -
Sorry was only joking about the wires, might mean I can get a couple more panels than I thought though. Just need to get a retaining wall built first as access to the garage roof isn't safe ATM.8kw system spread over 6 roofs , surrounded by trees and in a valley.1

Done, saw a tiny bit of generation before the sun went down.
Installers doesn't know their installer code for Growatt so can't access that at the moment.
