if they are crossbreeds give them a fancy name and they will sell for big money.
Labradoodle, spanador, colliedor, sheprador and many more.5 -
Cynical people could think that the post was placed in the first place to advertise .........
I have preferred not to think that someone who knows nothing about breeding would risk the health of their 4 year old pet for the sake of money. After all, with the recent legislation that has gone through, all breeders (which does include those people who have an accidental litter) have to be identified as the originators of the puppies by microchip before the puppies go to new homes and can be held liable for any health problems which can be diagnosed as hereditory - which puts the chances of big money into jeopardy.0 -

I hope your girl has a straightforward birth. Not surprised the kennels is denying responsibility but thankfully your girl is a good age for a first litter, and, while you won't sleep for many weeks, you will have no trouble selling the pups in this climate. A quick look on Gumtree will tell you what people are paying for puppies. Don't spare any expensive for your dog now; give her the best of everything - feed, vet care, and - as recommend above - try to see if an experienced local breeder can be on hand to help you in case of complications.1

I thought I would give an update.
Well she had 8 healthy pups .
it has been a very stressful couple of months but managed to find find good homes for them.
The kennel has now finally admitted that she got pregnant while in their care .
We are now going to look for some sort of compensation from them for all the trouble and stress they have put us through.
Is the county court our best option?1 -
I think you are best to approach to settle out of court if I am honest.
Did you find out what she mated with ? I have seen a Rottweiler lay down to mate with a male Jack russell before now, When they are ready they will do what is ness to get rid of the urge.0 -

Have you sought proper legal advice?
Will the puppies have a sale value? If so, assuming that comes to more than the cost of feeding them and any vet bills what are your losses?
What lawful cheaper options were open to you (however unpalatable they may be)?
Remember, legally a dog is property. Sentimental issues because they are cute and cuddly doesn't affect that.0 -

The puppies are all sold and going to their new homes this week. We had to cancel our holiday and have vets bills , food DNA test and equipment for the pups to pay. Plus a lot of stress !
So what you are saying is just because we have sold them the kennel owes us nothing ?0
