    NSD 4/16
Was going to buy a Martin Lewis money saving book, but decided to save my £££ and send a request "to stock" email to library service. Also ordered another money saving book for FREE from library.
Am sure Martin Lewis doesn't need the book royalties LOL
I always think there is some irony in spending money on a money saving book  :)
I agree, it does seem rather a pointless and ironic purchase if you are trying to save money. The local library has all sorts for free and if people don't use the local library the service gets cut or closed down to save funds
The other one I find odd is minimalist websites that then encourage you to buy a book  :D

I ❤️the library, but our local one is tiny and has been shut for the whole pandemic :( I don't think it will open anytime soon as when I checked online for when my books are due back, they have been automatically extended to 2022!
Oh if they have extended your books until 2022 that doesnt bode well. It is awful that libraries are closing, will only get worse as councils grapple with costs of COVID. My books were extended until Sept 2021, but the library is open for non contact book returns. It's all desperately sad as libraries are a treasure we should cherish
