The 'scenic route' to mortgage freedom...

The electrician came and went and we have a working oven (yay!) but no hob for the foreseeable. Still, this is a vast improvement and will make dinnertime much easier.
DH has had one enquiry about our old fridge freezer, and they are apparently coming tomorrow night to look at it / buy. If they don't haggle it will be £50 for the kitty.
DD and DS had horseriding today and they managed to mostly avoid the rain. We have the woodburner going now so the front room is nice and toasty, even if the rest of the house is not.
DH and I need to sit down and check our expenditure this month and work out how much money we are realistically going to spend against what we budgeted at the start of the month. Ideally we need to stick to it as closely as possible so that we can save as much of DH's pay as we can and not have to pay off yet another CC bill.- Mortgage over-payments to date: = £16,746

Great that you have got your oven wired in and working, sounds as though your kitchen is coming along. Fingers crossed the fridge freezer sells.

I FINALLY CLEANED SOME WINDOWS!
This has been on my 'to do' list for about a fortnight, and I put my big girl pants on and cleaned the bay windows in the front room, inside and out today. It took over an hour to do 12 panes and also the fanlight, but now they are spotless. Of course, it started raining straight away afterwards. I might have started upstairs except I ran out of white vinegar.
No sign of the fridge freezer person yet, hope they turn up because we could really use the £50. Swagbucks at least is going well.

Ooh, well done on the windows! That's been on my list for, er... at least 3 months 😳! I don't even have many of them, so no excuses other than my complete idleness!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Well done on the windows. Annoying about the fine.
Hope you get some sales to make up for it.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Still no takers on the fridge freezer, despite several enquiries. Might try reducing the price in a day or two.
Swagbucks going well. Confident of cashing out £40 tomorrow and £10 next week. DH also close to cashing out £40.
Volunteered to work in 2nd job again next week.
1st job expenses have been authorised but not yet paid. Will do more claimable work mileage tomorrow.
CB goes in tomorrow, which will give a much needed boost to the joint account.
Bought DD and DS new coats today, hopefully neither of them lose these ones.

Sleep badly last night as I was stressed about work today. My FitBit said I got 5hr20min. Came home from work and had a 2hr10min nap. Didn't feel much better afterwards.
Work itself was okay despite my stressing. Didn't claim my mileage as I was too tired. I will do it tomorrow.
Cashed out £35 on Swagbucks (couldn't withdraw £40) Will do £5 tomorrow, or maybe wait to round up to £10 or £15. We'll see.
CB landed, for which I'm grateful.
Still no FB marketplace sales, despite more enquiries.
Going to relax in front of the woodburner tonight where its nice and warm. Another thing I'm grateful for.- Mortgage over-payments to date: = £16,746

I would love a woodburner. Very therapeutic.

Slept poorly again last night. I've only got about 20 mins deep sleep every night for the last week according to my FitBit. Its frustrating because I am tired.
Submitted my mileage claim today and had a good day on Swagbucks. I also appealed the Parking Ticket. I have to wait 35 days now to see if it is upheld or not. Went to to doctors to request my repeat prescription, which will be ready on Friday. Also popped over my Dad's and did a few jobs and took him out for lunch.

Cleaned some more windows today, they really needed it. Looking so much better now. Also mopped the kitchen floor but it will need another going over tomorrow. The worktop company is coming tomorrow to laser measure the kitchen so that's exciting. I'm working in the afternoon, much needed extra cash for the kitty.
Someone came and collected an old chair for £5 tonight and someone is apparently collecting something tomorrow for £40, but they seem a bit weird so maybe not.
I bought some wool today to try and knit DD a scarf for her birthday. I'm going to have to find some YouTube tutorials because it has been years since I knitted anything. If its harder/slower than I remember I'll put it away for Christmas.
Swagbucks is still going well. Added £4 to the balance today, should be able to cash out £25 on Sunday. The first lot of £35 is already in Paypal. Even If I don't do much more after this week, I should still have a bit extra to cash out in November when the bonus is added.
DH lost his 3-day-old coat in school today, fingers crossed he finds it tomorrow.
