Had a email from O2 about roaming charges being re-introduced on O2 in Europe,
so I think basically that if I use above 25GB in Europe, each GB above that will incur a fee ?

I suspect it means that everything you do with your phone in the EU will incur a fee0

I don't use 25gb at home so not bothered.
Common sense says you shouldn't be streaming Netflix etc on holiday anyway. If you want to then get a local SIM card on arrivalEx forum ambassador

Not sure how much 25GB represents anyways.

Hello I took out a mobile phone via a third party mobile phone cashback site in November 2019. I have received cashback a few times after submitting relevant claims. The network is O2. I have no more cashback to claim and have approx 5 months left on my contract.
I received an email from O2 today to say roaming tariffs are changing and I have a right to leave early (I must do this within 30 days) with no termination charge. I have heard of this happening before but I have never experienced it.
I logged onto my account for more info but it’s not particularly helpful.
I wondered if anyone else has had this and whether me using a third party supplier meant I cannot terminate.
Also the contract included a phone does anyone know how I can find out how much I owe them for the phone? I pay one direct debit each month so presumably part is phone and part is minutes/data etc.
I can ring them after work however I don’t want to get told the wrong information and end up oweing them money later on!Thank you0 -
Just a thought on the cashback deal. It is very unusual for there not to be a claim to be made on the last bill of the contract. Third party suppliers earn commission on the duration of the deal so will incentivise you not to leave early. Best to check.0

Thanks I will double check that but I think month 18 was the last claim due.0

Sorry to add my own question here but I also got a pay monthly contract with O2 quite recently (about 4,5 months back) via a third party. I also just received a email from them that I can cancel my contract penalty free. If I want to use that option, what happens to the phone considering I have partially paid for the device. Do I have to pay the remaining phone price (how do they come up with device price vs sim charges) and if I want to return that device instead of paying the rest for that, do I get money from them for paying for a device which I am returning?0

This from the O2 help pages, says it shows what the o/s charges are on a contract.
Text the word INFO to 85075 to get the details of what you owe.
