They've finished school now and all have jobs, but yes, there was a lot of money juggling going on to fund the schooling back in the day. There were a lot of times that my sister wasn't sure that she could do it either but somehow we always did. It makes you realise how lucky we are here.

Fantastic comments about DD, you must be so proud of her. She sounds like a lovely girl, all credit to you.

Leicester schools break up 2 weeks early and go back in August too.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Oh recording on the radio patiently waiting to press the pause button at the end of the song before the DJ starting talking 🤣.
It doesn’t surprise me that you dd teacher said all those lovely things about her, I could tell she was a sweet kind natured girl by the way you speak about her. She gets her nature from you.
Proud mummy moment for you. I’m also proud mummy, my son got 2:1 in his degree yesterday so that’s uni officially over and now to venture into the big real world and hopefully I’ll get some keep money 😂😂.
Enjoy your film, will you be get getting your wee treat trays out x

Yes, I see that in my job too. Lots of deprivation and inequality. Really hard sometimes x

Yes they do. I used to work in Leicester. It is to do with the industry sector if I remember rightly. It was lovely getting the cheaper holidays but going back in August was just so strange! I don't think I ever got used to that x

Congratulations to your son. That is an amazing achievement.

No wee treat trays as we are pretty much all out of treats! I have a handful of bits left and not enough for it to look anywhere near decent!

Phew, what a long day of tidying and cleaning. I have been working on it since 8.30am. I stopped for my coaching call and then to give DD her dinner but other than that I have been working on it non stop. I have sorted so much out and managed to rearrange everything.  I listed a few things for sale but then created a space in the loft for boot sale items for when I get the opportunity to do one.

My back is aching now though. I have hoovered and cleaned though and DD's room is looking so much better. We hoovered all her teddies to get rid of the dust and then moved them away from her bed.

I have the car loaded for the tip tomorrow. There are three bags of rubbish, one bag of clothes and an old small mattress in there ready to go. I think one of the things holding me back was the fact that I had so much good stuff that needed collecting so couldn't go on the main sales site (I don't have social media so can't list it on there either) and so I didn't want to bin it. Now I have an alternative I have been able to clear so much more into that pile. Now I just need to make sure that I actually do a car boot! I am sure I will as I have done before. The book case has also lost around half the books on there too. I have put the boxes from the storage unit on the shelves as I do still need to go through a couple of them but don't have the energy today.  I have found homes for everything. but those homes will need sorting. I will be doing that bit by bit though as I always do. When I have a temptation to spend or need to clean my mind, I have a wedge of things to go through and thin out. One drawer at a time is easier than the whole task I have just done.

I'm worn out. Sun has now come out though which is nice so I might just have five minutes in the garden. I have washed DD's bedding though so I will need to put that back on her bed later.

I have two hospital appointments next week. One is the consultant one for the feedback of all the results and the other is the physio.

Tomorrow is release day so I have to do the tip, pick up the parcel from the store for DD's uniform and go and get some shopping. I also need fuel as well. I will get all that done and then the day can be mine just to spend doing as I want. If I decide to clear one thing out then I will do that but if I want to sit in the garden then I will do that too! I think I might deserve a day off after today.

Have a lovely evening everyone x

😂 not quite. It’s been on the cards for a while and the isolation has meant I had the energy to do it and could take the steps needed. It was always my summer holiday plan. Now I need to do the garage and loft! Plus, the living room. My coach and mentor is fab. She’s such a positive force and gives me motivation.

I agree with  @IzzyBee, I think if you’re ever looking for a career change you could open your own business decluttering people’s homes.
It’s amazing how much more spacious rooms look when you have a clear out.
