love that comment 🤣🤣 straight to the point
  • It is. Apparently that’s me too especially in work. I know I’m known for being blunt.

it was also referring to the fact I don’t do drama. I’m simple to to be around and things with me are uncomplicated as I say what I want.

    It really made me smile!

  • Interesting exercise Willow , I hope it helps you to see how  other people perceive you. Obviously we don't know you personally, but you come across as a very level headed person, always wanting the best for you and DD .

    Thank you!
It is interesting. Helps to get to the route of what’s important to you. It’s actually focussed me on something I thought I was closed off too!

  • Very productive day today. DD has been asking for a pjs day whilst off so today I granted her wish.
I’ve taken down the outside lights, hoovered the downstairs and the car out, got rid of the old fridge/freezer, started the oven clean solution off ready for the big clean tomorrow, sprayed the fire again to make it fresher after Christmas and it getting a bit scuffed.

I’ve sanded and oiled a worktop in the kitchen to keep it fresh, done all the washing and started my new diary.

I got some money for Christmas and found a bath jet mat second hand. That was delivered today so I’ve had a jet spa bath with a glass of Prosecco and bath bubbles from my favourite shop. It was amazing. I’ve been wanting one to help with my shoulder but couldn’t justify the full price. I got a real bargain though.

I’ve kept today a NSD and plan to have as many as I can in the coming months. My friend has bought me a coffee machine that’s due this week as well.

I did have a pantomime planned for tomorrow but it’s been cancelled. I’m not sure what the plans are now. I’ll absolutely be doing something with DD though. I’m not a huge fan of new year and never have been so I’m not sure what.

In the morning I’ll be cleaning the oven out. The solution would have worked by then and I’m hoping it will be back to pristine condition. The tray is soaking in the bag ready to be cleaned too.

January sees the start of my journey to tackle the loan. I hope I can hit that target and jeep going with everything I have planned. This year is about balance for me. It’s the first year I think I’ve factored in an actual amount for spending for me and DD.

I think balance is the key, you will get there x

The bath jet spa with Prosecco sounds rather fabulous. I’m not a fan of new year either, there is always the expectation to be off out celebrating bedecked in sequins when in reality most people are sound asleep at midnight 😆
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

  • Just lost a long post 😡

Plans for today and tomorrow now sorted out. I’m relaxed and will finish my diary tonight. I’ve already started to make progress with parts of it.

Had a lovely morning with DD. We visited the shops and she has her own requests now of ones she wants to go in. She’s growing up so quickly.

My coffee machine is arriving today too. I’m looking forward to getting it! I’ve been without one for a few weeks and quite enjoy a nice coffee.

I didn’t buy anything today. We just got a coffee for me and DD had her favourite drink.

    Happy New Year 🥂🎊🥳🎉🍻
