My my ex never paid me anything for our children but it did work in my favour later as after he left the country he signed the house over to me without me having to pay him anything so I call it quits now. My DDs don't haven't had anything to do with him for years despite me trying to keep their relationship going, we don't even know where he is now,he was living in another town here but I don't know if he is still there 🤷‍♀️I'm glad in a way because I don't have to deal with any of his crap

Thanks OBL. I’ve handed over 40k in total now. 50% equity plus 10k he was adamant he put in that I didn’t. Actually it was equal as I paid for the solicitors and stamp duty but I’ve got myself through that bit.

I do get money from him, I am grateful to get something every month otherwise it’ll be tougher.

Part of me goes back to wanting to sell up again. I could clear everything and start again, but I love this house!

  • You have worked so hard for the house Willow. You will pay this stupid debt off. You absolutely will. You keep going! XXX

    Thanks Buffy,

I must go through this dilemma every 6 months and decide to stay and then go back through it again 6 months later! I think I’d regret it if I moved, but then the new house would be truly mine. I’d pay off the car, bike and loan too.  X

  • I’ve just gone through the house looking for things and have found a lot more that will sell. I shall be listing again soon but as I’m away next week can’t do it until I’ll be back to post! I’m excited for decluttering again! At least 50 items (including DD’s uniform and hangers) have gone this summer. If the boot sale lot goes then likely to be over 100.

Well today has been another day of sorting through house things. Lots went in the bin and lots ready to go out.

I posted all 6 eBay items today and have given my push bike away (just waiting for it to be picked up).

I have sorted through four baskets and got rid of anything I don’t need and started a Christmas gift box to start adding things to for Christmas.

I went through PayPal and found I was paying for Netflix twice so got a refund on one month and it closed down saving £6 a month. I also cancelled my coffee subscription and saved £17 every month.  That’s £23 a month just from today.

I need to still go through the cupboards and get rid of cups and glasses. I seem to like keeping them and hoard them everywhere. That needs to stop. The boot sale selling pile is getting bigger, I just need it to sell now!

Lots still to do and I’ll start it again tomorrow!
