What a love few days Willow. That is so good! I never knew about your time in hospital, it must have been a weird feeling to realise all of that. I do sometimes wish that feeling of how precious life is could stick a bit more. There have been times in my life when I have been very aware of that knowledge and lived differently because of it. But it doesn't last, I go back to my old ways and getting caught up in the pointless stuff. I think I do need to get in touch with that feeling again.
I am so impressed with the decluttering too. Have a good day XX
xxNevertheless she persisted.1 -
It’s ok Buffy it was a few years ago now. I left my husband 6 weeks after it and when I feel myself slipping back into the life mode I am conscious of reminding myself about that time. I didn’t lie there and think about marking, or clothes, or a new bag, just about memories and living my life how I want to live it.Buffythedebtslayer said:What a love few days Willow. I nearly died when I had my first daughter and later on it does change your perspective on life a bit, the lady in the bed next to me did unfortunately die and it took me a long time to get my head round the fact that life is very precarious indeedOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942

Yes it is. Time is the most precious thing you can have. Hi Willow, finally got round to finding and reading your new diary. You’ve done really well with your debt repayments and selling things/decluttering.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £10,345, Car loan CC 0% BT £4900. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.1

For those new people who didn’t read my old diary, the 8k loan debt I have was to pay my ex for part of the house. I have 10 years to pay him 8k and when I tried to pay him back monthly he got really annoyed and said he felt I was taking the mick because I was getting a new kitchen, had replaced the boiler and radiators (they needed doing) and had bought a new car as I felt mine was unsafe. I got a loan to pay him off to stop the constant how much questions on anything I bought (he still asks but at least now I owe him nothing)Anyway, the reason I’ve been procrastinating paying it is because I just felt it was a debt I shouldn’t have had and it was unfair. That’s why I’ve been just leaving it.I need to get rid of it as quickly as possible. XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

I totally understand your reasoning over this and another forumite has done a similar thing. I have a direct debit toward a loan which is nearly finished thank goodness after 5 years and I try to pay extra odd amounts( Polly tidying) to get it down faster. You`ve done so well with your sales...I get frustrated when people bookmark an item and then don`t bid.3
