How exciting to finally get out on your bike. Hope DD has a lovely weekend with her grandparents and you enjoy some downtime.

    Afternoon everyone,

Last night I went out on my bike for an hour. It felt good to be out. I stayed local and went on quiet roads practising changing gears and turning corners. It is like driving a car where you need the clutch pressed in but your left foot flicks up the gears. I’m just getting used to it but it was great to finally get out.

DD is having a good time so far. She went yesterday and I just spent the afternoon relaxing.

I didn’t get up till really late today which isn’t like me at all. I’m usually up early. I kept drifting back off and it was gone 10.30am when I got ip properly.

DD came to get me at 5.30am yesterday morning as she had woken up and could see sunrise. She thought it looked beautiful so we sat in her bed watching it together for a little bit before we went back to bed for an hour.

I’ve been to the shops today and treated myself to a book (cheaper than the other one) a cup, a bottle of wine, some chocolates specially for my intolerances and some free from crisps. They’re my favourite flavour and I haven’t seen them in the free from range. I’m happy with the money I spent today as it’s a rare treat and I have a couple of nights where I can relax on my own with a glass of wine, a book and treats.

I’m not going to make another payment to the loan this month. I’ve done a lot of paying and I’m having the next week just to stay out of my overdraft before payday.

Hope everyone else is ok. X
