Three years to get debt free

Happy bank holiday weekend.
I Booked DD and I a weekend away months ago so we are currently in the lake district.
I got to tick off something on my bucket list and vision board. I did try last year but bird flu stopped it. It was a falconry experience and we spent some time with the owls as well. We got to gold a huge owl and fly two of the birds which as incredible. They are so powerful.
Today we are swimming, pottery painting, doing the aerial experience, which I absolutely hate, but DD loves it so I have no choice and then we are playing tennis tonight.
We had takeaway last night and then DD requested going on a walk so we had a lovely wander in the woods.
Home tomorrow and then back to the work routine! I am so busy at the minute with it being weeks from the exams. Come June I will switch to summer job and only one student left.
Started a new career but wont post on here what yet. I am launching it in September by throwing a party. I held off because of the health scare, but now is the time to make the changes.

Home safe and the task of unpacking and sorting starts!
Got back yesterday afternoon and have managed to start the washing and sorting. Before I put the clothes away, I plan on clearing out at least one bag of clothes to donate to charity.
This month, I have finally earned a whole month's pay and so I am not reliant on my savings. I think my savings will be pleased. Although, I am now working 7 days a week. This will end in about 4 weeks when exams finished so is just short term pain.
Feeling very motivated following the break so happy to start clearing out things again. A lot needs to go.

Not sure what happened today, but instead of enjoying my day off, I turned it into one of my most productive days so far this year.
I did both DD and my wardrobe. Three bin bags rammed full in total sent to charity.
Two lots of washing done. Clothes put away from holiday.
Changed my credit limit on my credit card so that it is 6k lower. They have been increasing it a lot and it is now at a ridiculous level that made me feel uncomfortable so I have more than halved it. Not that I would ever spend it, but the fraud I recently experienced made me anxious.
Tidied up DD's room and mine as well. Decluttered a ton of items into recycling.
Completed some of my summer work. I also tutored tonight.
Tomorrow I am working from home again. I also have tutoring as well. I would also like to get upnealeier enough to do some summer work, and will try and declutter at least 5 items tomorrow.

Hhappy weekend,
Although I am working loads this weekend! GCSE English is Monday, so lots of last minute tutoring. Thankfully all online so not having to leave the house. They have four exams over the next four weeks for English only so got lots of lessons and then I will lose four students. Thankfully, I have got another income stream to cover this loss.
I will be glad to get my Sunday's back though as I need to finish my PhD and this was my study day.
Money is ok. I need to be careful as my new payment date is the end of the month, and my main bills come out on the 16th. I have tried to change it, but my mortgage won't let me for some reason.
Need to continue decluttering. The wardrobes still look great and that is a great motivation!
Hope everyone else is ok.

Just catching up with you and I’m glad you’re getting sorted and have a new career to look forward to. All sounding good.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪2 -
Thank you Sun Addict.
I Am feeling so tired at the minute. I am working seven days though in some capacity or another and think I have taken too much on. Thankfully it all ends two weeks today.
My car has just come out of its seven year warranty and little things started to go wrong on it. I spoke to the garage who suggested it was time for an upgrade. I guess they know how to keep consumers coming back.
All big bills out tomorrow but pay now the end of the month.
DD is with her dad today. I have been working so not much time to relax.
Hope everyone else is having a better Sunday

if its minor things and you know the history it may be worth keeping for another year or two and saving towards a new one. what's the car worth? and what's the cost of repairs?
I am glad your health scare ended up being ok?

The electrics in the car are definitely going. When I try to put the window up, it goes down. I did think it was me at first, but it has happened a lot. Ahhh!
This week is again busy. I had a full day's work followed by three 1:1 sessions because today is another exam. I did manage to finish part one of my summer job though. I like to do it before part 2 starts, but it is dependent on schools hitting the deadline and some never do.
My goals on decluttering this year are focused on the loft and garage. I have asked the two people with stuff in my garage to remove it before next week. I have started organising and did manage to get rid of a fair few items today. The dryer has broken so that is being collected for recycle on Monday. I have ordered some vacuum packs for the outdoor furniture cushions as that it taking up a huge amount of space. I will use one bag for the duvet under my bed and mattress protector for my spare bed.
All main bills have been paid and I am changing the payment date on the mortgage today.
I am just glad to be making progress.
