No,not fixed. Haven't seen a good deal, but probably wouldn't know a good deal if I did see one!Sarahwithlove said:Are you not in a fix for your gas and electric? Have your provider not offered a good enough one?

Fixes are not always the best, depends who you are with and what tariffs the offer
You need to look at the price per kWh to compare; not what the supplier suggests direct debit should be (common mistake some people make)MFW 2025 #50: £1989.73/£600007/03/25: Mortgage: £67,000.00

Thanks, they don't seem to be many out there. I'm with octopus and they do have fixes, but I don't know what is best xMFWannabe said:Fixes are not always the best, depends who you are with and what tariffs the offer

I'm with Octopus and got a fix a few months back with £0 exit fees so can always change back if needed to standard. I've heard good things about the tracker, alot of people say it's cheaper than the cap. But you take the risk it suddenly could increase

Hahaha think we all would. It's only because Martin said it was worth considering that I did at the time.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7000

It's not a bad idea, I saw his recommendation too and looked but couldn't find anything open to me.Sarahwithlove said:Hahaha think we all would. It's only because Martin said it was worth considering that I did at the time.

School holidays are so expensive! DD has some expensive hobbies and it really does wipe me out some months.
In good news though, one more Christmas payment for my vouchers and I'm done.
My phone is due up in a couple of months, that will be around £40 a month saving.
I've heard we're getting a pay rise that equates to around £100 a month.
I've got the next two weeks covered with regards to DD and clubs so no more huge spending.
I have one job left to do over the holidays that needs to be done in the house before I go back to work. I'm hoping to finish that today or tomorrow.

It’s that time of the holiday isn’t it, where consciousness of the new term creeps up! Hope the house job goes smoothly.Willowtree222 said:School holidays are so expensive! DD has some expensive hobbies and it really does wipe me out some months.
