In good news though, one more Christmas payment for my vouchers and I'm done.
My phone is due up in a couple of months, that will be around £40 a month saving.
I've heard we're getting a pay rise that equates to around £100 a month.
I've got the next two weeks covered with regards to DD and clubs so no more huge spending.
I have one job left to do over the holidays that needs to be done in the house before I go back to work. I'm hoping to finish that today or tomorrow.
It's a physical job and my back and arm aren't always up to it. I've dosed up in pain relief and thankfully managed to get it done. It's an outside job which makes it doubly hard because I need the weather and a low pain day.

Thank you, that's after tax, unless my calculations are out (wouldn't be the first time).

Feeling tired today. I had to dose up on painkillers after doing the job but then woke up with the usual dead arm and pins and needles and then couldn't get back to sleep for a few hours.
I have been looking at finances and cancelled a direct debit that I don't use that is £22. I'm hoping to find another £100 saving (on top of the car) each month to try to over pay more and then long term save more.
I currently have £22
Phone due up January so that will be £40 saving as I'm turning to sim only again.
Everything I over pay on the car finance, I asked them to reduce the monthly amount, not the duration so that will come down as well.
I need to find another £40-£50 savings. I think I can do this shopping, if I stick to my budget and list, which I find the most difficult. It'll be easier when I'm back in work and in a routine.
Listed a ton of my friends clothes on ebay. All of them have labels on. He buys them for his family, if they don't like them, he always forgets to send them back, so they end up in my spare room!
Feeling a lot more in control now, and know I have to be stricter in September .
Got the chimney sweep coming tomorrow. £60 for clean it out, but worth it to get it prepped for winter. It will once again become my heated room to save energy money in the rest of the house. DD's room is always heated though.
DD had a climbing session this morning and liked it as usual. She was the only one on her session, which was nice for her to do.
Going to write down my plan and find that money.

Feel a bit more on top of things and like I'm stepping in the right direction.
I paid off a finance agreement today. Had a few hundred left on it, but £21 a month saved. That's now up to £43 with the cancelled DD.
Three payments due in in the next week. Two will cover standard bills and one is the last summer money. That will cover an emergency fund and next year's car insurance.
Worked out a more lenient budget in the hope I stick to it better. Fuel savings are already evident.
Just having the focus to look is progress. I'm glad I've found that again.

Morning,
DD at her dad's this morning and the weather is looking nice so a possible garden day with my book.
Visiting my friend tomorrow for a couple of days so really looking forward to that. Going to stop on the way at a shopping centre and get DD her school trainers and then she is complete.
Downloaded a money monitoring app I used to use. It tells me what I'm spending where and how much so I can track my accounts without having to spend hours working it out. I'm not looking at the past as I can't change it and it will give me feelings of guilt, so just working on the now and what I have the ability to do something about.
DD has something every day this week to keep her going. Last week before we go back to work and school.

Had a lovely time on the farm. Heading back this morning so should be home lunchtime.
Budget has been blown, but I'll deal with that when I'm home. My summer work money will cover it so I'm not too upset considering and it was worth everything have the days.with my friend. DD has also had an amazing time.
I'm looking after a dog when I get home. It's a family dog and one I'm used to having.
Last of the August money will be in this week. Then I can see where I am totally.
