I can't believe the seller has offered a £3 reduction!  Like you say it's nothing like what you ordered and it's downright ugly!!!  You definitely want your money back - it's nothing like you ordered.

They've now accepted the refund request, but not sent the label through. I suspect this will be a difficult one to get my money back from.

I had a similar problem with a seller last year who tried to fob me off with a discount as it “cost too much” to do a return (to them not me!) I insisted on the return and received a refund shortly afterwards.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Thanks both, hoping for a refund but still no sign of that returns label.

Today has been frustrating. I had the boiler serviced as i was still smelling a faint gas smell that I've been smelling since February. It was all checked then and nothing at all was being picked up on the devices and the gas wasn't dropping to indicate a leak. I'd already had all the cupboards opened and the oven open to see if I could smell it. It's not all the time, but occasionally I'll get a whiff. My dad used to work with gas and he couldn't smell anything and neither could the guy servicing it. This morning I smelt it just as he arrived and he couldn't, his probes picked up nothing too. He did all tests and checks and then as a way to make me feel better, he pulled out the oven and did the old fashion soap and water test. Low and behold the pipe connecting my gas hob was in fact leaking. Very faint, and not enough to be picked up by the machines. He said my nose must be very sensitive. I'm just so grateful I did and persevered. He was so thorough showing me everything to explain what he'd see if there was a leak and none of it was picked up. His kachines were working because we did it with the gad on and it was moving. Anyway, that's fixed now and so far I've not picked up any whiff of it.

The delivery of office things arrived yesterday and two items are broken which has scuppered my chance of finishing that. The new delivery will be Sunday now. It's too big to get in the car otherwise I'd drive there and sort it. My dad helped me put up shelving and I built the drawer units. We got all the stuff from the loft so I will be ready to sort on Sunday once the new one has arrived.

I also pulled out a big piece of wood and didn't realise there was wood tucked in. I hadn't put my shoes on and I've broken at least one toe. It's swollen, cut and currently purple. It'll be black tomorrow. It's sore to walk on too.

I'm owed £180 in refunds. Hoping that comes in by next week. I've paid over £800 off the god damn credit card so far this pay day. It'll leave me ensuring I budget a lot, but It's now at £1500. Progress is finally being made.

You will have smelt it as the first door opener.  I had that once in my porch after they fitted my new gas meter, then they tried to charge me to repair it.  Now they wonder why I don't want a smart meter.

I certainly was the only one smelling it! It was when I was putting the kettle on sometimes, which is right next to the hob. I just kept getting slight scents of it. Even when I smelt it this morning he was here and he couldn't smell it at all. Weird how I picked it up. I'm just very very grateful it was found and hoping there are no more smells of it.

I can imagine why you don't want a smart meter x

I took a trip to the furniture shop tonight to return an item, but forgot the item. I will need to go back at some point for a few things once I have been paid the summer money to finish off the new study, so it'll go back then. Just typical of my day. I even put it at the bottom of the stairs ready to take. I got a small storage bit for the new office. I sat on a few chairs too and will research what's best for my back.

Another bits and pieces day today. I'm working and needing to build another storage unit. Once this is all in and then I can really start to sort out that spare room to make it something more usable for me.

Later on were going paddleboarding again.

I've got some work to do this morning and I have promised DD she can make some cakes as well so she'll be doing that. She's the out with her dad for a few hours which will give me some time to sort some bits out.

Bank account doesn't look great but I'm owed a lot in refunds so it'll be fine once they come through. When you spend money, it leaves your account instantly, but when you get refunded, it seems to take a while.

Refund of £110 has come in. Selling site stepped in and have initiated the rabbit refund. That's £100 I'm now waiting for.

The paddleboard is also leaking right at the air valve do not sealed and not fixable. I didn't realise until I'd driven and started to put it up. I'm annoyed. DD was upset too. I've emailed and requested a refund and return as it's supposed to be brand new. You could hear the air hissing out of it. I'll have to wait for that before I get a new one. I paid via PayPal so I know they'll step.in if there's an issue.

Money will be fine once everything comes in. I've sold one item today and I have another few to list. I make the most off the 70% off fees so will wait till then.

Not having much luck with items being ordered. I've got the redelivery of the broken office furniture tomorrow. Hopefully that will be fine. I've got a lot of sorting to do this weekend to make the office space look good and organised. It's been a mess for a long time.
