I’ve noticed when we’re on holiday the cleaners always close the curtains after they’ve cleaned. Obviously they know how to handle hot weather.

I never thought of that. Usually there’s air conditioning though x

It usually goes off when you take your key card out of the slot. So there’s a method in their madness 😆 I expect they’re hoping to save on electricity. We just aren’t used to extremes of weather here.

And when you open the patio doors! I forgot about that too!

We’ve started to close out curtains especially the back of the house which is south facing. Does seem to help. Well I caused a bit of a stir in our village yesterday as I put a comment on the village fb page regarding seeing somebody walking their dog when it was 35 degree heat. When it’s an animal that maybe harmed even unintentionally then I will comment, but a couple seemed to take offence, mind you think they were still smarting from getting a telling off as they had been caught having a bbq with a disposable one on our local hill that the last couple of weeks has had a few small fires, you do wonder about some people. Everybody else agreed with me about the dog. Xx

The pavement can burn their poor paws. My parents walk their dog early early and late late if it’s cool enough. She’s 3/4 length and even has her own paddling pool!

I’ve closed the windows all day and blind is down. I’ll see if it makes a difference, thanks

Have people not seen the wildfires those bbqs spread on open land?

Hoping for a better nights sleep tonight.

Another few days of the holiday gone! It’s flying by!.

Today was the end of DDs return to school stuff. I got her shoes, bag and and some cardigans as well as some wellies.
£82 in total. I always get her the proper fitted shoes though. They were £47.

I’ve put some money in savings too.

Tomorrow I have a very important meeting that could change my future so I’m hoping it goes ok.

Does anyone remember when I decided to do a foot peel last time and it seemed to have no impact and then a of a sudden it just hit weeks and weeks later? Well, I’ve tried another one and I’m waiting too see the results of that.

Due a £20 voucher next week. I’ve also got 20,000 virgin points to spend! I keep looking but can’t decide.

    Hope everyone is ok.

    Thank you.
I had it. Won’t really know the outcome for a few weeks yet, but I’m glad it’s over to be honest x
