    Morning,

Bit of a jobs week this week. All explained to DD so she understands what I need to be doing and why. She’s on board with helping too so that’s good.

Money is a bit ew. I’ve not been good and now I’m seeing the consequences. I really need to reset and look again at what I’m spending.

Payday is next Monday. I hate it when my pay is absorbed into my overdraft but that’s the price I pay for not watching things carefully.

Sale ends tonight. It’s up to £36 so I’m hoping it hits over £40.

Off to start day ones jobs.

The hot weather has been lovely.
DD has her paddling pool out and is dipping in and out.

I’ve been enjoying coffee out in the morning and soaking the last rays until now when it goes in. It reminds me of when we were in America. I hope it cools so I can sleep later!

Got some errands to do tomorrow and then hoping to take DD ice skating on Friday. She didn’t want to go last week.

Money is still not the best. I’ve moved any events from this week to next week after I’ve been paid.

  • Morning,

Spent the morning so far sorting don’t bits in the garden. Took me ages, but glad it’s done. I just need some garden lights now to make it complete.

Asked DD what she wanted to do today abs she said stay in! Think it’s too hot for her. Sleep is hard abs restless when you’re hot too so sure she’s not sleeping great.

I’ve got plans most days next week anyway. So a day off today won’t harm her.

Payday is Monday. Vouchers have come through so I’ve got time to look at the experiences I can do and see if there any good.

  • Sorry money is tight this month and all the  prices going up doesn't help.

It is hard to sleep when it's so warm. I've been keeping windows and curtains shut in the bedroom in the daytime when it's hot and then opening them to let cooler air in when it's the evening.

Thanks Hairy. I just don’t know what to do to keep cool. DD has a fan on her. X

Last night had an impromptu drink out. It started with just a couple of us and our children playing then people we knew came and we just enjoyed the weather and relaxing. It wasn’t a late night and DD had a lovely time as some of her school friends were there.

DD hasn’t eaten much. I’ve not either and I think it’s just because it’s so hot.

Pay came in today and I’ve been living things round into different pots. I’ll get my last summer job pay in two weeks now and that’s it for my extra income.

I’m so grateful I had the opportunity and it’s meant I’ve been able to afford things I otherwise couldn’t.

The last of the month will be used for days out.

Hope everyone is okay with the heat.

    Sounds like a lovely night.

I’m staying in outdoors too hot for me. Did 11k steps going to shops and post office when it was dull this morning. I’ll sit out after dinner when it’s cooler 😎 x

Keeping windows blind or curtains closed in your bedroom during the day definitely makes a big difference.
