    Evening!

DD had clubs today and I’m currently sat enjoying the sun in the garden.

I’ve finished my antibiotics and started my new back medication. It’ll take a while before it kicks in properly and I need to increase it in a few weeks.

I’ve switched bank accounts and this time I’m getting points that could get me different things. I don’t know if I should get things for gifts saving me money in the long run, or if I just allow myself to buy things I want. I could always do a bit of a mixture too.

I’m also dreading the birthday list question as there is absolutely nothing I want. I’ve tried looking to gauge if anything takes my liking, but it just doesn’t. I know my mum in particular will insist she has to buy me something. It’s a big birthday do I know how it went for my sister and I’m expecting the same thing. X

Is there an experience you’d like? Or something like a Merlin pass or NT membership?

There’s a few coupled with some wine.
there’s chocolate making, candle making and gin tasting. There’s also spa things. So many lovely things I’d like to do x

Well..... this is the ideal time to make a wee list and offer one or two as suggestions   :)

If it makes them happy to give a thing, then get something completely guilt free just for you   :)

    Thank you.
my mum is more of an ‘I want to buy you something you’ll have as in jewellery’ person. Not my thing anymore. Hoping I can get a compromise.

I might use the vouchers for the bank for my gift experiences

I made a list last year for my birthday and Xmas regarding presents. Unfortunately my OH and family decided buy me presents that weren’t on the list. Might buy my own presents this year and they can give me the money. Don’t want to seem ungrateful, but I always get them what they ask for and I hate wasting money on unwanted gifts.xx

I’m going to struggle with this too. If I don’t have something then I’ll get something which is really not what I want.

im so happy with everything around me. I don’t need gifts or things I won’t wear. It’s her operating out of love though. I’d like them to give me something that I can say was from them for my birthday. It’s just I can’t think of anything.

That’s why I was hoping they’d go for giving you the memories instead :) Food hamper or something else consumable?

I’m hoping I can convince them of this. Unfortunately, if I’m right, it will be refused. X

    Morning,

Local shop day today. I need some house basics like washing liquid and disinfectant etc.

Thank you for the ideas last night. I feel ungrateful just actually saying there is nothing I want and I don’t want to buy something for the sake of it.

Selling item is almost where I want it. A little more and I’ll be happy. If it hits the £40 mark I’ll be very very happy!
