Day one of the hols and I’ve done my most dreaded job! I tidied put DD’s wardrobe and mine too. Four bin bags of clothes have left and have been replaced with two bags only. DD needed some new clothes so a good sort allowed me to see what she needed.

school uniform wise, I just need some more cardigans for her and some shoes.

I took DD’s clothes to the clothes bank and mine will follow tomorrow.

I also hoovered and tidied and cleaned some of upstairs. I’ve got the spare room to tackle this summer too.

DD’s clubs weren’t on today so it gave us a good opportunity to get things done. We enjoyed a coffee shop refresher and time to get the new clothes.

Tomorrow she’s with her dad and I’m having coffee with a friend.

Next week is a busy week for things being booked in. The drs and other things that I don’t get to do at other times. The dentist is in the holidays at some point too! I also need to pick up my prescriptions.

The decision on what to do with my back is looming. I’m going to have to make that decision too.

Money is ok. I’m due my second wage this week and that will keep me going. Some is for savings and some will pay for the log burner being fitted.

The rest will cover days out to nice places during the holidays.

Always satisfying to tackle the worst jobs first. Sounds like you’ve got a good plan in place for the holidays. Hope you get some time to chill too.

    Thanks Sun,
    how are you?

Yes, I have some chill time built in too. I’ve subscribed to a reading app so that will be good.

Work have organised some counselling too for my back decision so I’m actually looking forward to an hour of being able to talk things out.

Today has been busy. I had three medical appointments and needed to sort out a puncture in my tyre. I got it done but the light was still on. I found another nail in another tyre so it’s booked in tomorrow at 8am.

    Medical appointments were ok.

money isn’t so good though. Just waiting for my summer money this week and it’ll be fine. I’ve accumulated some savings now so that is good.

I need a couple of days to relax this week. It’s been a very tough year with work and I’m feeling really tired.

Have a lovely evening everyone x

    Morning,

🤞🏻 It’s summer pay day tomorrow. I never know the exact day.

I’ve had a good mix of doing stuff for DD, cleaning and tidying, and sorting things out.

We’ve been blackberry picking and made Jam and yesterday we went ice skating so she could practice.

Bank is in its overdraft. I went to ikea to ‘look’ and ended up buying things knowing the money is due this week.

My idea is to reach £5000 in savings and then to ensure I’m striking a monthly balance. Im 50% there now and plan to be 100% there by October.

Good to see you back Willow.

What a pain about your tyres, I always seem to get tyre problems all at the same time.

”Looking” in ikea can be dangerous 😂 but at least you know you have the money coming.
