Well done on your bonus Willow, that’s good karma at work. 👍🏻 You’re doing so well on your savings and debt clearing.
    Thanks Sashy,

It’s got me settled so that I can have the right balance between saving, debt paying and treats for DD and I every month. That’s where I wanted to be. It’s a solid foundation to build on. I just thought it would a good few months away! X

    Morning,

£30 in this morning but into my business account so not directly to me as such. My business account is building up nicely. It will end soon though as tutoring season stops in May/June as exams come to an end and then pick up again September/October again.

Dropping DD at her dads today and I have loads that I need to be doing paperwork wise that I know I need to get on top of. I have about 10 different forms to fill in for things I am involved in and I have procrastinated one of them for as long as I possibly can now. I have promised her a trip to my parents when she gets back as she hasn't seen the puppy this weekend. I say puppy as she is 18 weeks old however, she is already quite big. She is a German Shepherd pup so is going to be a big girl.

Will have to use the credit card this week as I need to put all my expenses on it. I get everything back but I don't want it coming out of my main bank account so will stick it on there.

Very busy week this week. I have a four day ticket to a local concert for DD and I so we will be spending most afternoons there. Not allowed to take any food or drink in though so that will cost a bit of money. Most of my friends and some of my family have tickets too so that will be lovely to have some relaxing time with them. Thankfully, I have next Monday off work as the extra jubilee bank holiday so that will be a nice day to relax from a busy weekend.

Tomorrow I am taking DD ice skating so she can have some free skating time to practise her new found skills. She is looking forward to that.

Hope everyone has a lovely day.

£20 in yesterday. Nothing likely to be in today. I am in one of those phases where I know I have money coming in, I just don't know when it will be arriving.
Confirmation that I have qualified for the switching offer, which I knew already however, could be up to the 9th June before payment.
I have a really busy month ahead but it will be worth it in the end.
£3200 is likely to be around 6 weeks away. It should come in two phases. As with everything, it will likely all come in at once!

Really tired tonight. My summer job involves a four hour drive somewhere, a day working and then a four hour drive back so I’m pretty much slumped on the chair right now. It does give me opportunities to earn some more money though so I can’t really complain too much!

    Early night for me though!

yikes. You are good. I wouldn't be worth a light after 4 hours driving!

I’m going back to work more exhausted then I finished. However, I’ve had an amazing weekend.

My area has a yearly concert and this year they did four days due to the jubilee. I’ve been working all morning and then at a concert from 2pm most days until 10pm. DD had a lovely time but I’m in need of a rest now! The only down side is you can’t take in any food or drink and they searched everything you had so the cost was huge. I think I spent almost £200. There was a mini fair so that was a good proportion. You weren’t allowed to leave and come back either so I couldn’t nip out for tea either.

I can see I’m changing again. In the past I would have been really stressed at this cost but I need time out and DD loved her first taste of live music. I enjoyed every minute of it and sampled all the different foods on offer.

    Back to work tomorrow 🤨

    Hi,
to be honest, no. My summer job is taking up my mornings and evenings!
I’m getting up at 5am to start and not finishing until gone 7pm which isn’t ideal, but what I need to do.

currently earned around £1800 extra after tax. I’m still working so could end up a little more.

Ex’s money didn’t arrive yesterday. He said tomorrow so hopefully it will. It’s paying for school uniform so will be needed.

My focus is just work at the minute, but it’s short term pain.

    How are you?
