I’ve had a lovely chilled day. Long walk, fishing, hot tub and now relaxing whilst DD is out on her scooter.
Used the last of my money to buy an electric blanket. Much cheaper than full heating and at least I know DD will always be warm.
The log burner also has a cast iron top for a kettle and a coffee pot. Even a pan if I wanted to cook on it. I’ve been stocking up on wood and coal so will get us through the weekends and evenings. Awful when you need to plan for events like this but at least i know I can keep Us both warm. We both have electric blankets in the beds anyway.I know I now have an emergency fund. I don’t want to use it for bills though xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

I’m enjoying being sat out listening to the birds and wildlife.
I love this time where I can think and sort my brain out. I need to make a few changes when I get back home. I’ve got into a few bad habits diet wise and I need to switch it round. I’m sat drinking a coffee and I don’t even really like coffee. I have to drink it with sugars just so it tastes ok 😂 but I’ve got myself into the rubbish caffeine habit in work and being tired because my back stops me sleeping isn’t helping. That’s one of the first things that’s changing.I’ve been worrying about the prince increases and not buying the expensive free from things as a result. That’s meaning I’m eating the wrong foods which isn’t going to help my energy and feeling ok. I can’t control the prices at all but I can control what I put in my mouth. If I’m not going to buy them then I can’t eat the stuff that impacts my health. I’ve not had the right balance for a while now and I need to get back into making the right choices.
Money is ok. We’ve been cooking most nights here and the walks are full on walks with no shops.XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

I think being on holiday often makes you reassess things. I always take a notebook in case I forget when I get home. I’m off to Zante later today, can’t wait 😎I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
