Glad to hear you feeling better. I have no idea what to get my mum never wants or needs anything. Doesn’t like flowers or plants and she’s still not keen on going for lunch/dinner for fear of catching covid.

@Parkyp - does your mum have any hobbies you could buy something for?  or perhaps a magazine subscription or puzzle books.

It's very difficult isn't it?  I've actually told my girls not to buy me anything as there's nothing I want or need but no idea whether they'll listen but do hope so!

@jodenice , No she doesn’t have any hobbies or read. Although she does like walking and going to the cinema but as she has five kids we all tend to buy cinema vouchers, trainers etc at Christmas and birthday. She is 70 this year so we asked did she want a big present and we could all put in together for it and she asked for a dishwasher 🤣🤣, oh well if that’s what she wants and needs then then why not 🤷🏻‍♀️.

As long as you all put in then I suppose that's not too bad between you!  I wouldn't dare ask my two for anything big like that!

My mum is the same. Doesn’t like cash or vouchers, doesn’t like certain chocolates, flowers have to be just so. Total pain in the !!!!!! trying to buy for her.

My mum doesn’t like any of these otherwise I think it would make great presents x

    Morning,

I’m back to being tired again this morning! I think I’ll be having a sleep at some point again. I know I was up in the night but not sure how long for.

Money is ok. I’ve had to take £100 from savings which I suspected I would. I’m hoping I don’t have to take the other £100 out and I can keep my savings as they are. That should be fine if the money I’m owed comes in.

Had my scan this morning. I’ve just got home. Really glad it’s over with now.

I’d forgotten to fill in my budget planner with me being ill. I’ll need to get back on that today.

I’ve put fuel in my car to last hopefully till payday. With me not being in work, it should do. Some of DD’s clubs are off too at Easter so that’s less money in travel costs although we’ll be travelling a few days to some lessons she’s asked for.

I’ve noticed that without prime membership, my spending has reduced significantly. It probably helps that I might not have a job in September  so I’m saving every penny I can! Either way, it’s good to see I can save if I really need to.

I’ve got £300 in bills still come out. My phone bill has been taken twice due to the switching but that will just mean less paid next month instead. When bills are out it’ll give me a budget of £70 for fuel, groceries and everything I should need before next pay day. That will be tight but doable if I’m careful.

    Here’s hoping! X

It’s a beautiful morning. I’ve just spent it in the garden cuddled up watching the birds and the day start. It reminded my of a holiday I was on once and was lovely.

DD has some activities today and then I’m hoping to have a relaxing evening. My body is still not right.

    Have a lovely day. X

Morning, sun is shining here as well although I don’t get sun round back garden until about lunchtime.
Did they say how long you’ll have to wait until you get your scan results.

    Enjoy your day x
