Shocked to read your news...good job that you can get support from your union. Forgive me if I’ve got confused but isn’t the (physical) back issue related to injuries that you have sustained at work? Doesn’t that have some bearing somewhere?

Well done for saving as much much as you have so far.
No, you’re not confused. 4 work related back injuries. One major fall followed by 3 further injuries whilst healing from the fall.

Actually what ‘should’ be happening and what is happening are two different things. The union are being so supportive. I can’t write much down yet, but once this is all over, I’ll be able to update. X

It’s DD’s birthday today and I can’t even put into words how bad I feel. I got up and managed to make it so that it was ok and she didn’t notice the difference but I’ve been in bed all afternoon.

More of my colleagues have now tested positive so a huge percentage of us are off. All of us seem to have pretty bad symptoms with it as well. Sometimes I don’t know if im hot or cold. That’s the scary part for me as that reminds me of the sepsis. A burning temperature but sat there shivering. Last night I got a bit frightened as I was on my own and worrying. Managed to calm myself though.

pay day today. I put another £1000 away. Im not sure I can afford to do it this month, but I’ll try. If I can get to £800 kept saved, I’ll be very happy. X

My friend has covid to, first time she’s had it. Description like yours going hot and cold with a terrible headache, no energy an effort to get out bed and switch kettle on.

Happy birthday to dd. Just stay in bed and nothing for as long as possible when dd is at school.

    Thank you all,

I feel so much better today than yesterday but I’m still exhausted. I’ve slept again this afternoon for a few hours.

I actually can’t wait to get back in bed!

There’s a constant funny taste in my mouth too. It’s not anything I can describe, but it’s there.

    Morning,

I’m still not feeling great at all. I’m having a few hours sleep during the day every day.

Money is ok. I’ll likely have to take some out of my savings but I always thought this was the case. I’ll try not to but it’s not a huge thing if I do.

I can’t update too much on work. It’s in the hands of others at the minute. We will see how that goes.
