Using " " might be better when quoting this.

‘a payment of GBP 1.50 was authorised towards WILLEN LAKE CAR PARK MILTON KEYNES GB on 6 June 21. The time captured on the system is 17:04 UKT. As the merchant did not collect the payment, the pending amount was returned to your account after 7 days per the normal Visa procedure’.

You haven't addressed the complaint to the parking firm!  They are not called 'Atterbury Lakes'.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Thanks for the tips 😬

Am I supposed to sign the letter but not use my real signature ? I saw this on the newbies FAQ…

NO NEED TO USE YOUR REAL SIGNATURE IF YOU HAVE NO OTHER APPEAL OPTION BUT POSTAL...BUT OF COURSE YOU PUT YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS!

For appeals and complaints just print your name. For example, mine would be F. Cake

If it gets to court then you would need to print your full name and use your normal signature.

    It is a PCN.

    It's a FCN -  a Fixed Charge Notice.

I think Napier are the only company to use that term.

Thanks all so much for your help I really appreciate it.

I hand delivered the letter today, after a difficult and stressful morning due to my daughters health issues so I was not in a good mood.

I went to reception at the registered address and was not surprised to find out it’s a virtual office so no one from Napier was there.

This is the office block Napier register their virtual office…

Reception offered to take the letter and said Napier collect the post in the mornings.

I told them I wanted evidence that I had hand delivered the letter, so she sent an email to Napier and copied me in with my email address to confirm I had hand delivered the letter. Hopefully this evidence is enough?

I asked why it was a virtual office and the receptionist said it was so Napier don’t have to deal with angry customers !

I asked if Napier had a real office address and the receptionist said she couldn’t tell me due to data protection.

So it’s ok for Napier to break data protection to find my address, but they hide their own address by using a virtual office 🤬

I actually expected this, I’ve seen things like this on programs such as watchdog etc.

It just makes me more angry and shows what a criminal operation they are running.

Not sure what will happen next or how long it will take but I’ll keep updates on this thread with the progress.

Thanks all again for your help.

So how do you find the real address of Napier Parking if they hide behind a virtual office ?
