Help with Ebay seller - how do I get my money back?

I recently placed an order on eBay for
3x L'oreal Paris Color Riche Lipstick 255 Blush in Plum 5ml
£5.99
The seller invoiced and charged £5.99 for
L'oreal Paris Color Riche Lipstick 255 Blush in Plum 5ml
£5.99
and, sure enough, delivered one lipstick only.
The seller is sitting on her hands and refusing to either supply the two other lipsticks or a pro rata refund.
I can see how I report such behaviour to eBay, and have. I can't see how I get eBay to help in this dispute - and get the missing goods or refund.
(I do have a screenshot of the original eBay page)

do a return and choose under 'reason' the drop down box 'other' and then select 'item.not as described'.
print off postage label and return for a refund

As above, the seller cannot change the item you bought after you commit to buy, so your purchase on your bought page will show the 3 . Not sure how it currently works but previously if a listing was changed the details in the Purchase History also changed, i.e eBay was showing the current listing title in the Purchase History list, perhaps this is what OP means as maybe the seller messed up the title on the listing and then corrected it. (Not that any of this affects what OP should do).soolin said:As above, the seller cannot change the item you bought after you commit to buy, so your purchase on your bought page will show the 3 . Changing the current listing does not change the details of the listing on the buyers sold page. It will change the link, so if someone checks using an old link it will go to the new listing, but the historical one will not change.

You should have received a confirmation email too, as soon as you placed your order with all the correct details on it. If you need to raise dispute you can do it through ebay's dispute system - link here
https://pages.ebay.co.uk/ebay-money-back-guarantee/index.html
ebay has a money back guarantee so you should be able to just appeal to them now and they will sort it out.
I have to say although I know that L'Oreal lipstick isn't the most expensive by any means, I think 3 for £5.99 is a good deal. I'd expect to pay a similar price for just one. But if the seller advertised three at that price, then three is what she should send. Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. Thanks all. I was keener ro receive the missing items or a pro-rate refund - but there doesn't seem to be a way to get eBay involved with that when the stuff is shown as delivered. Following postings above, I started the not-as-described return process yesterday. Now I find that the wife has started using the single lipstick sent - even though she has others of the same type part-used. I guess that that puts the can on any further things I can do.The email acknowledgement of the order didn't have a "quantity" statement. I'll know in future to watch out for that. The original, "3x" offering is not on eBay any more.Caveat Emptor - again

At this point if the lipstick got used I don't think you can return it anymore. Or maybe you can but you shouldn't?!Best course of action would be to express your disappointment on the seller feedback page.0

Are you sure there wasn't a drop down to choose the quantity in the original listing?
If the title of the item was 3x lipstick that would show in the email from eBay (email subject "we got your order").0 -
The purchase history will show what exactly was purchased but it is moot as the return cannot be made as the OP's wife has used the item.jon81uk said:Are you sure there wasn't a drop down to choose the quantity in the original listing?

As the seller doesn't seem bothered about refunding the pro rata amount then the only way forward is by leaving feedback and moving on.0 -
No pull-down, the quote I gave was from the eBay page I clicked "Buy it Now" on.
3x L'oreal Paris Color Riche Lipstick 255 Blush in Plum 5ml
The "Order Confirmed" email gives no quantity - but the price is the same. The purchase history should indeed "show what exactly was purchased". In this case it doesn't. I never purchased that item from the page shown in the purchase history.I should have noted the missing "3x" in the Order Confirmed email - and there being no information about quantity - but I didn't.The fact that the prices were the same is, IMO, not a coincidence. I've been misled - and there doesn't seem to be any restitution path via eBay - not the least because eBay appears not to validate the purchase history data. Wide open to what happened here.
