  • Corr - busy day again. I decided to come home from work when i finished at 2 to get some other jobs done. Charlie has done nothing but moan and cry since picking him up. He wouldn't walk in the supermarket, and has only stopped being a snotty limpet since giving him a biscuit and tying a shoe lace round his truck so he can pull it round - ooh no, off he starts again. No idea why really, although i've an inkling there may be more teeth on the way. Will make him a sarnie in a minute for his tea, and then catch up properly. I've only just managed to flick the heating on and make a cuppa, and i am feeling cold. Brrrrrr!

jjef, can't even imagine what they are going through right now, pigpens right with kids, they deal with things so well don't they, my thoughts and best wishes go out to the whole family at this very sad time.

tiamai aww bless him, what a little trooper, do you hire him out for cleaning duties?

likklegibbon, yes of course you can celebrate, congratulations, was our 10 years this year (I stayed in the house, he was out racing toy cars!), could have killed him and done less 'time' :rotfl: only kidding of course.

Thanks for asking about DS1, unfortunately as some of the Flylady 'oldies' know he gets them a lot, he was fine. Luckily I'd put a duvet cover on the spare duvet so easier to change his bed.

Kitchen finished, happy bunny, level 3 hasn't been a regular occurance lately but managed it today. Manic the rest of the week with school stuff, kids stuff, got a few things to do for people, so level 3 will probably be much more tricky. I'm also going to be a bag of nerves on Thursday, for the first time EVER my oldest (nearly 9) is taking part in a school performance, he has chosen a speaking part, he's always refused point blank to be in them and ended up running out so this has shocked us. Just fingers crossed it goes well and he actually speaks. I don't think he'd have ever got as far as wanting to be involved if he'd stayed in his mainstream school.

Right, dinner needs cooking (DP can naff off and make his own as he turned his nose up at what I've said we're having), foldy out bed needs putting away and DS2s bed needs remaking as he's a wriggler and has removed his sheets some time during the night! Need to do another wash load, DS1s blood covered clothes and sheets. Oh 3 loads of laundry to put away too, socks sorting also needs doing at some point :( bah horrible sock sorting!

New list is up for tomorrow, hope you all have a good evening.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

  • Signing on again as things don't get done unless I get an outside kick

Manic Monday- Kitchen and Dining Room

[strike]Clear and wipe those surfaces, even if around things![/strike]
    Level Two
    [strike]Clean floors[/strike]
[strike]Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, wipe any spills[/strike]
Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary) Dining table in living room and covered in xmas lists! AAARGH!! Just realised that tomorrow IS living room

    Level Three

[strike]Wipe & replace small appliances such as kettle, toaster etc (wipe under too, especially the toaster!)[/strike]
[strike]Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances, don't forget those kick boards[/strike]
Check those washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker hood and dishwasher filters

  • right - child now happily munching so i have caught up on here. You ladies move me from tears to laughter all within a few words.

jjef so sorry to hear about your SIL. It really hit me as i am nearly that stage, and i can't even imagine that happening, although, it can go wrong at any stage and you have to be so thankful for what you have. I have no idea how i would react, particularly this time when i have been so busy i haven't even thought about anything in too much detail.

lil-me hope DS1 is ok this evening.

tia that photo made me chortle. I was trying to teach charlie to wipe the floor with a baby wipe and he was having none of it.

pigpen if you find anywhere suitable to buy that broom for your derriere please let me know as i could do with one too! :rotfl:

teacher training day from 12:15 tomorrow, so as i start at 11:15, one lesson to teach which is y10 and planned already, so tonight i guess i can do some more SAT paper marking as they did paper 2 for me this morning. Also had y11 exam invigilation, so 2 hours of peace at least. :T

that's after i get charlie to bed, and sort dinner. What did we all do that was so wicked in a past life?
