Evening all
Sorry to hear your sad news jjef and denise sending hugs to you all.
Done practically no flying here today as was dealing with some personal stuff that has been mentally exhausting. Plus I am feeling quite apathetic about Christmas but A stuck the stamps on the cards that need posting so they should be on their way tomorrow.
I should go to bed but I just know I will be laid there waiting to go to sleep for the next goodness only knows how long. There just seems so much that needs dealing with at the moment. Think it's a case of babysteps on all fronts at the moment.
Catch you all tomorrow.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Wow 6 pages already!! Only just checking in so far this week. Started work full time this week(haven't worked full time since having dd1 over 4 years ago) so not sure how well I'm going to keep up but will try my best. DH is home on leave now and is looking after kids whilst I'm at work so he'll be doing the lounge tommorow;)
Off to get a quick cuppa then bed xDFW no.630!

evening all, been away for the weekend at OH's and didn't come on the site as i didn't take my laptop.
denise - big hug, as you can imagine it made me feel quite unnerved reading that!
jjef - my sil has lost several too, it's heartbreaking.
my weekend was good, very tired now and should be in bed but wanted to catch up on here! some good things happened this weekend: we met my mate who is taking our wedding service and went through it in great detail, we now know she will do exactly what we want and it is gonna be awesomeit was her who wanted to go through it, we (OH esp) had thought it would be overkill but even he said it was very very useful! we also signed for the new rented flat today and got keys, OH bless him has been in and done meter readings, found out who supplies elec & gas etc. i need to get an insurance quote before bed as it's half price with tesco at the moment. i also went to new work today to do my CRB form and met loads of cool people including my new colleagues
OH is not well at the moment i am worried he may have glandular fever or similarhopefully not, but he is exhausted and i had to make him go to bed and sleep both sat and sunday afts. bless him.
i'm at the drs tomorrow 9am about my contraception (not doing well at rememberign the mini pill and only have 3 hours grace, also need to see about something to stop period for honeymoon!)
my dad is here this week (though staying in a hotel) so won't get much flying done. but a vague plan for the week is:
weightwatchers
flowers for friend who had miscarriage last week
house insurance quote
wedding hotel - arrange meeting
send deposit & form for mum's flat for wedding week
pack 6 boxes (time is madly ticking away now!)
doctors
insurers re books
kitchen
bathroom
study
bedroom

Denise, I've just been onto the website, I like pigpen now have a very pink face, couldn't help but be upset when reading it, looking at the photograph on her wedding day, such a beautiful girl aswell, life is just awful at times. I will be thinking of you all...
rach:jkeys :jdon't forget Quidco when you sort the insuranceI think it's Prudential who've just increased their pay out but worth checking each one, I was being charged £41, Nationwide same policy, well in some things a better policy, £22.48! saved me a fortune and cashback
Evening everyone else of course, what an evening, DS2 screaming with ear pain, guess he's not going to be in the school performance in the morning unless he has some miracle recovery overnight.
Just put the last Boots order in so that's Christmas presents from there finished, another £10 off code so I am happyOrdered some things from ebay I wanted for presents. I have something to get from Matalan then I THINK I am done, will have another check through the list tomorrow, just to make sure.
Still having issues with Wilkinsons, sick of the website now, tried all the tips, more than once, grrrrrr, stupid website! One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
thanks for the reminder lil_me, i wanted to get a quote from tescos first as i know they are doing a 50% off thing at the moment. but the quote is well high in my opinion! i am currently with CIS and their cashback is good but i have a feeling that won't count as a new poilcy as i'm an existing customer (although it's a new address and will be a joint policy). thankfully we can pay all in one which saves paying interest (OH will put on 0% card and pay off a bit a month). i will look into it tomorrow, it's not super urgent as we're not moving stuff in straight away but would like to have it sorted sooner rather than later. i might do a confused.com quote to get an idea and then look at quidco cashback and decide which is best overall. we need personal posessions, accidental damage etc as my ring is worth a lot and OH plans on getting a big TV (and i am rather clumsy....)Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

Morning All
Another early morning for me! Just sorting through a pile of paperwork before I start on lunches, etc. DH is away tonight so will probably have chance to get some things done - that's if I stay awake as DS woke me up at 3.45 then DH's alarm went off at 4.15 so I never managed to go back to sleep and decided I may as well get up at 5am!
Hope everyone has a good day
Hugs to those who need them

Denise - it is soo sad to have such a wonderful life taken at that age, must be so hard for the DH. Can't imagine what it must be like. Hugs to those who need them today-sadly i think that there are quite a few.
Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Level 1
Remove clutter from the floors, making sure stairs especially are safe
Check fire alarms are working!!!
Level 2
Vacuum floors and sofas
Dusting, even if it is around things
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
Level 3
Wipe door handles and banister
Move objects so dusting is more thorough, dust them before putting back
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)
Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
Polish any furniture that is feeling a little neglected, of course if it's cluttered up then you might need to do some clearing first
Sort through shoes, coats and bags, make sure they are tidy & where they should be
Clean any glass items in this room like mirrors, clocks etc (Don't forget the top, behind and the frames!)
Sort through any books or magazines lying around, put them where they should be, if there is a library book due to be returned then make sure it goes back or is booked out again
Dust any ornaments, wipe the shelf they are on before replacing them
Well I at least have the list up, not quite sure how much I will get around to doing!!January Grocery 11/3740 -

- Will set to in the living room when I return, I cheated last night and did the declutter so all it needs is a hoover and dust, but I do need to sort through the hall cupboard I have been ignoring it for several weeks and it badly needs some attention.
