  • Here’s hoping it’s a false positive.
Make sure you take it easy & don’t overdo things.
If it is positive then possibly not from viewings as doesn’t it take 5 days from the point of infection to show up so maybe the hairdressers?

Fingers crossed you don't have Covid and test comes back negative. Positive news on the viewings though.

Thanks everyone for your good wishes.
It is positive ! Grrr!!! I'm absolutely fine other than no taste and smell and being utterly bored stiff already! I think that it must have been the hairdressers as its at least a 5 day incubation period before symptoms and testing will pick it up - a shame though as its very Covid aware, sanitisers, masks, screens, the lot.... It might even have been just before the half term break at school - who knows? I don't know anyone else other than school kids that are positive - random chance. No point worrying about it. I'll follow the rules and hope for nice weather so at least I can spend time in the garden.

So, today is the day that I commit to a buyer - final offers close at 10 am and there's been absolutely loads - even more have come in overnight. The agent is calling me later on to sort it all out. Luckily, everything can be done remotely.

Workwise, I'm working from home but not teaching - so that means a couple of meetings a day, some report writing and paperwork etc but not full 8 hour days to fill. So, I'll have plenty of time on my hands, especially with no running or dog walking - its a long day when you get up at 5! Will maybe start with another wardrobe cull now I know what the future will hold, might go mad and clean some windows - will see how bored I get.
Only 14 hours to bed time.....

Great news on the house offers , I hope it easy for you to decide who to proceed with. Sorry to hear of the positive Covid result , it probably came from school. At least the lateral flow tests are working .
You are so full of energy I hope you find stuff to occupy yourself . Take care MT.

Sorry to hear about Covid, at least you are working less?  :D I imagine being home all day can't be too easy though.
And how amazing having so many offers to choose from? I wish you luck!

Wow that’s brilliant I must admit when I put my house up for sale I didn’t expect it to sell straight away and when it did I felt a bit eek what do I do now didn’t expect that good luck
