Thanks Umkomaas,Umkomaas said:The role of the CCBC in your case has ended and the only court you deal with is the court to which your hearing has been allocated.Should I mention about being past the deadline in the emailAbsolutely not. You don't want to admit a shortcoming, especially as the email will also have to send it to the claimant's solicitors too. They will ponce on that straight off!The Claimants Witness statement was sent by post so I don't have an email addressee CC'd.
So should i also send my Defense and questionaire to this email address (enquiries.bournemouth.countycourt@justice.gov.uk) ?
I have the QDR email address, it is only the court one I needed verifying.0 -
We don't know. My advice was to ring the court and ask, first thing. Usually they have a hearings email.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Aren't you at Witness Statement stage now? What has your Defence and Defence Questionnaire got to do with anything? (THEY were sent to CCBC because no court had yet been allocated. Once a court HAS been allocated, then CCBC are no longer involved - at all).Rosht said:

Thanks Coupon,
Is there anything I need to do now between now and the hearing which is on Friday?
Any tips for preparation?
I planned on reading through both witness statements and defences a few times.
Many thanks,

Many thanks,Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Have my hearing in 15 minutes...0 -
The hearing took place at 10am today. The Judge said this was a preliminary hearing even though the letter I received for this hearing did not state it was a preliminary hearing. (The one that got adjourned previously did state it was a preliminary).
The Judge said that if we can't settle here then in half an hour another Judge is available to go through the proper hearing and if we both agreed to this.
The Claimant then said they had not received my Witness statement and they had only been instructed for the half an hour set out for todays prelim hearing,
The Judge said they have got my witness statement and for me to send it directly to the Claimants solicitor on the call, and that half an hour is more than enough time to go through the Witness statement, as they have already seen the defense and the W.S is only 5 pages long.
The Claimant then said they cannot agree until they have instruction to do the second hearing.
The Judge then said that whether they get instruction or not they will get a call at 10:45 and the hearing will take place.
I thought this was going well so far but I did not get a call at 10:45 for this hearing, It is now 11:05am.1
