Acronyms and abbreviations common to the parking forum are explained in the fifth post of the NEWBIES. Print them off or write them out. Have you found the NEWBIES yet?

I gave you a link to the second post on the NEWBIES thread on 25 May at 2:12PM.

As @Fruitcake said, you need to be looking at the fifth post on the NEWBIES thread.

ideally use a laptop (or even a tablet, android or ipad work ) , not a phone

a phone gives you a cut down version of the internet, no good for this topic because this is a full blown website with various extras

phones are ok for casual use, but not important jobs , same as you could use a pebble to hammer in a nail, but a proper hammer is much better

Get them to look for something like this!

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

How do people miss that?  We really struggle to understand, were you unable to find page one or something (no criticism - PLEASE tell us!).

BTW my signature tells everyone where to click to get tp page one from ANY thread. Stops you having shedloads of tabs open.

BTW there are other Wells defences already written including one that included the fact that the signs fail to create any contract.  This was discussed at length on one thread this year.  The signage wording is very odd indeed and fails to state what the consequences of breach are, IIRC.  It doesn't have the usual sentence 'by parking or remaining you agree to pay £100 blah blah' and I don't think it states the breaches.

The signs also identify the landowner (the principal) and that means that the agent (CEL) has no legal sanding to sue over the parking contract on offer.

Find that thread, no point us going over it all again.  That means reading any Wells threads from 2021. Google might be easier.

You will have already read in the NEWBIES thread never to file a Defence via the MCOL website.

What is the Issue Date on your County Court Claim Form?

Correct , do not use the MCOL website or the paper form that arrived in the post

Save your signed defence as a pdf ( use a digital signature ) and email it as an attachment to the ccbcaq email address , ccbcaq being the entity and the rest being the email postbox , so to a specific office at the CCBC , in the justice department , not to one person , think of it as a p o box number that employees can access

The email address and details are in the defence template thread by coupon mad , where you obtained your Defence from
