Congratulations and welcome to the club, Granny Jazee (you sneaked in that little bit of news very quietly)
DGS or DGD? Hope everyone is well and happy xxx
The DVD storage tower has gone
DH spent all morning in bed because he was cross with himself for putting on 5 lb this week, and I'm cross with him too - he will find himself struck off the hip replacement waiting list if he doesn't lose another stone), but since getting up he has thrown out 2 pairs of old trainers!!! Now, of course, he's gone to the market town to try to get some more trainers from MrT - he wants very lightweight ones to wear for weigh-ins- but I very much hope he can keep away from the choccy biscuits shelves.
Having !!!!!!-footed around while he was resting, I rage hoovered out the under-stairs cupboard before putting his footwear back neatly. I have also found and fer-lung 2 child car booster seats of the old type, my slippers which fell apart yesterday evening (fortunately I had a new pair waiting in the wardrobe), a load of recycling, and kitchen peelings for the compost
I have been trying to understand why our church energy bills are so high and noticed that, although our bills are sent to our own vicarage, the supply address postcode on the bills is that of the neighbouring parish - which happens to have a church of the same name as ours, and both churches are on a HIgh Street. Are we paying their bills, I wonder? Now I am on a mission to get this mess sorted. Really, though, I'd rather be out walking through the gardens at a nearby EH property which has a wonderful display of rhododendrons and azaleas atm. Hey-ho, 'nuff said

Congratulations, Granny Jazee🍾! Hope all doing well.
It was with great sacrifice that I managed not to vacuum today, so as to keep the peace for Valli 😇. Believe that…?! So I have frittered the day. My HH paperwork turned into a drawn out couple of hours. I think I achieved something. Then DD and I went for an afternoon out in small town. She popped into ex-work for a chat, we went into 2 independent shops and bought a couple of birthday presents, then to a garden centre for a houseplant for her to kill, and a cup of coffee treat. It was lovely, first time we have been out together and not to a hospital, for probably a year.11 -
THREAD ANNOUNCEMENT!!
The new lists will be on the SECOND post of the thread.
Valli is having sick leave for the rest of the week so has asked me to take over from tomorrow so I will change my post to house the list for the remainder.I am sure she won't mind me telling you she is heading to the hospital which is the best place for her at the moment to receive the care she needs. I have asked her to keep in touch when she can because we do all worry. I hope she is soon back on her feet bossing us about.Get well soon Valli.. xxx

Very sorry to hear that Valli is in need of horse piddle care. Get well soon indeed! xx
Thank you pigpen for taking over at short notice x
I have mown the lawn and emptied more bins. DH did not buy any trainers: I had found some similar to his old ones in a CT catalogue that arrived last week, so he is getting them9 -
No-one wants to be in hospital but good to know Valli is getting treated, hope she is fit and well soon.
GI we have a small storage box full of hats and gloves. I wear two winter hats out of the box, and possibly 2 pairs of gloves, DH probably does the same. So, the question is, what exactly is in that box and why have I never sorted it?
So I cycled, it was good, but we got caught in a horrendous rain shower. I coped with being around people and I am not overthinking every conversation I had.
I have washed the throw off our bed and my cycling kit is now swishing on a quick wash. Hungry now even though I have been fed.
Fayolle sounds lovely, you really appreciate those moments dont you.
And Jazee congratulations!
