Washing pegged out. Sweetie's seed and water sorted. And made a start on DS's cubbyhole on the tv stand: bin recycle, shred, to file. Then ate lunch and read a couple of chapters of my book.
Next: WUDUPA a bowl of pots, then give the WM's dispenser drawer a good scrub.

Good to hear from you Valli. I was beginning to get a bit worried there. I hope you feel a lot better very soon.Ionafan, I was going to say yes, I could probably squeeze another bag into the back of the car for dropping off at the Samaritans in a couple of week's time, but I rather fear that the person who told me I can donate then and there was just saying that to be 'helpful' and pushback a query. I'm now carrying a roll of plastic bags too small for our new kitchen bin around in the car so that when I get to a supermarket with the big clothes recycling bins I can decant into the bags and drop them off. Some of them are full but sometimes I find one with a bit of space in it. I think this situation will last for a few months tbh.I took a day out yesterday and did crochet and watched tube of u vijos. It's the first time I've done that as a Sunday day off for a very, very long time, rather than because I was feeling exhausted. It was rather wonderful, although Layla and I got completely soaked on our evening trundle. This morning I spent quite a while rehoming gibble, doing which before I get cracking on doing stuff seems to keep the house clearer than any other system I've tried. I would do it as a 5 Minute Pick Up but it always takes at least 30 minutes here, what with one thing or another. I also ran the vacuum round a couple of places where the kittens had trodden their litter tray woodshavings all over the place because Belovéd had a friend coming round to discuss work. That's the first time for over 15 months - the visit, not the vacuuming! Felt a bit weird. And I'm now working on clearing the surfaces where I put 'Things That Need To Be Done' in my office. One more file to go but that won't be 'done' in an afternoon, more like four or five sessions a week over a month, but at least I'll get on with it again this arvo. It's been hanging around for several years and I am nibbling away at it at last. I'll just finish hemming this dress which I haven't been able to wear for several years ....
Better is good enough.11 -
Tip run done.. garden a smidge clearer.. It is getting better with every journey.Might do another tomorrow
DW done second load.
WM on the third load. I have a KS duvet to go in after that.
2 loads on the line and a bunch of socks etc in the TD.. waiting for the current load to finish.
L!dl visited for necessaries.. I found a few books for birthdays and HE (mythology, philosophy and psychology) and a big paddling pool for DD1's beasties. Shopping put away.. mostly.. I left a bag of tins in the middle of the kitchen floor.
Having a cuppa then we have the school run and I have to go to PO, opticians and B00ts when we get back.. with the crutches because my knee is going to fling me on the floor... it has tried several times today and is refusing to bear any weight.

Pigpen, I'm very pleased it cheered you up. I chortled at the idea of it being worn by you and your OH in turn - no fighting over it, please
Hope it does the trick with the SENCO. Ouch to OH's burn!
Valli, keep on taking care of yourself. Whatever it is, it doesn't sound very pleasant.
I have spent almost all morning trying to understand the new-to-me finance files, not helped at all by the fact that the flash drive given to me by the retiring treasurer worked perfectly well in my PC over the weekend but "was not recognised" when I plugged it into the same USB port today. I thought I had lost every single piece of info, but fortunately my ancient laptop was happy to read it and so I spent a good hour emailing all the files to myself and then downloading them onto the PC. Going through the figures raised more questions than they answered, but I'm gradually unravelling the mysteries. One being: why isn't there a budget for this year? Surely you have to know where the money's going?
I changed DH's dressing, and have also done WMx2 of 3 but not hung out because we keep getting short sharp showersDH was lucky and managed to get a phonecall from the GP despite ringing in late. Our GP surgery has 35,000 patients on their books, so it can get pretty fraught at times, and you rarely get to see the same Dr twice. He has now gone out to pick up even more meds
I must think about Rosie's walk soon.

4 ebeasty items packaged..

Washing in when the sky started leaking.
Spoken to school re EHCP.. and how the whole class would benefit and the school not just Dot.
OH emptied and refilled cat trays.. not the cats are running about filling them properly.. he told them to 'cross their legs' when they all wanted to be in while they were empty.
Squeak going to shop with SD2.. and OH has 2 small girls to scrub.

Well done on the tip runs Pigpen, good that you are seeing progress in the garden. Sorry to hear your NDNs are still causing trouble.
Valli hope you are feeling OK x
Well, 9 hours paid stuff done, whole house hoovered, hard floors mopped. Mince hotpot in SC for DH and DS, I took my veggie curry to work with me. One load of washing out and finished off in the tumbler. Bodyweights class done first thing, will do a little yoga before bed.
Darn it, I forgot to call at the library, I have nothing to read. Must go tomorrow.
I am going to be brave tomorrow. I have only cycled once with my ladies group since the first lockdown and I didnt really enjoy it. I have booked to go on a ride again after work tomorrow, I used to enjoy it so I need to conquer my nerves and try again. Why cant I be one of those super confident people who never worries about what anyone thinks of them?
Anyway, that's about Monday done for me.11 -
Well done Pigpen, Round and HB on the flingage progress.
Valli, I hope you are feeling better.
YL - well done for being you and balancing all the plates. I’m cursed with being a worrier and a “why did I say / do that” kind of person too. I hope you enjoy your bike ride tomorrow.
Paid stuff done. Dinner cooked. Kitchen tidied, WULTD, floor swept. HHI. DD helped to shower. Her bed stripped and wm loaded for the morning. DH’s hair cut. Cup of tea time finally.10 -
Appreciate the good wishes. But, sadly, no. I'm doing lots of sleeping and some of it is impromptu. Ringing GP tomorrow for fitnote. Meds' would be good. I'm not eating, but I am drinking. Orange juice. This has had a predicted effect. Yesterday I ate half an orange and three spoonfuls of Rice Krispies. Anyway I shall snuggle down in the comfy chair in the WAC and probably fall asleep.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
