    It’s way too early.
I think Lidl and Aldi are actually the last of the supermarkets to start their Christmas offerings. I had my first mince pie in August and our household has already consumed a box 😂 However, I’ll now give them a rest until nearer the time!

I have not seen the Lidl ones, but the box I purchased (and ate!!!) from Tesco were best before early-Oct. So it’s definitely something people should watch out for if they are planning to buy now but eat nearer the time.

    I wouldn't worry too much.
I remember years ago buying some M&S puff pastry mince pies for an office party and some were left over and put in a walk-in storage cupboard in a little-used office before we left for our Christmas holiday.
It was Easter, so well over 3 months later, when I next had occasion to go to that cupboard.  The mince pies were fine.

I didn't bother to look. I used to be a mince pie fiend, after 50 years I finally went off them! I just don't fancy them any more.

Me too @Rosa_Damascena. I don't enjoy the pastry but happy to lick the mincemeat spoon when I'm making them for DH. 😋

The frozen Aldi chicken spring rolls are okay, bought a few times for the novelty, but the Lidl beef spring rolls are particularly good 😋 And I'd happily buy every time they are available.

I had cause to W'App Lidl CS yesterday - the matter was sorted in 17 minutes flat and I am happy.

I bought this candle at Aldi the week before last - unusual autumnal scent that smells lovely once lit. A nice change from the usual pumpkin spice variants available:
    Autumn Jar Candle ALDI IE

ETA: no idea why my own pic wouldn't upload and I had quite a time finding this image online. But the candle is still worth it for £3.

ETA: My own pic finally uploaded:
