My view (even knowing which was which} was I couldn’t tell, but Youngest growled that with my sense of smell he didn’t trust me to tell curry from sweet & sour, blind. A challenge I shall take him up on…

Beloved Youngest presented me & his Granny with chicken curry this evening & sure enough, in the 'guess where I went shopping?' I went for the nearest store (Iceland) and Lost, Soundly.2

I'm happier with Lidl now, it seems to be tapping into my shopping habits and is now offering me 15% off things I have bought in the past. Pennies, I grant you - but its the thought that counts. No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Trying to find some frozen all butter croissants from ALDI, which they do sell but never seem to have in stock - just the pains au chocolat which they’re bundled with in the freezer cabinet.
Anybody happen to have bought any lately, or is this another disappearing item?2 -

Popped into Aldi last night on my way home. For the naysayers, this is the Aldi instore bakery - as seen at 8.30pm on a Saturday evening:
