Good and Bad Buys at Lidl and Aldi stores (***Please don't expire***)

Aldi are doing bags of Metro (4) baguette type sandwich size rolls (Italian or Tiger).  They are absolute dupes of Subway and even in similar coloured yellow & green packaging.  They are better than Subway imo as they are not as dense but the flavour is exactly the same.  Since i spotted them I've noticed they do sell out pretty quick and I've been known to drive from shop to shop to find them because we love them that much

Wife wanted to try Lidl's cheap bog rolls, £2.39 and supposedly 2-ply. I've looked at them and they're anything but... just one thin layer. Not at all fit for purpose. Will return them.

@Desmond_Hume It's not a question of £2.39. It's a matter of saying something on the tin and then not delivering. And I am retired and have too much time on my hands

If you mean how much, I think that they are £1.49 for a pack of four rolls. They are really nice though.
