It won't let me quote and then type outside that box. Grrr.

Agree with you about cheese Longwalker. Lidl extra mature is unbeatable as an everyday cheese. Toasts well, good texture, good deep flavour, good crusty salt layer (that only gets better if you keep well stocked up so they go out of date before you get to them. YUM :yum: )

When I see the price matched adverts I always think - 'yeah ok fine. Now match the quality + price and I'll consider it.' A few quid on a hunk of cheese in Lidl/Aldi is nothing like what your few quid would get you on a hunk of cheese in Tesco. The only thing I buy in Tesco now is loo rolls. And maybe a scratch card if I've taken a bump to the head.
I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.

For me it’s the time saving as much as anything else, and who needs 4 varieties of tomato ketchup?
Nobody, but the trouble is that the one variety Aldi/Lidl stocks isn't necessarily the one you would have chosen.  If you don't like one of their products then there's no alternative, your only choice is to shop elsewhere.

don't buy the Panzerrotti cherry biscuits from Lidl.  There are multiple issues with them.

Yes I have sent them a complaint.

Why have Aldi done away with the coloured milk bottle tops ??
    Green top semi skimmed.
    Blue top full fat.
Now all the bottles have got white tops !!
What a strange thing to do.
Is it just my local Aldi or countrywide?
