I know its not to everybodys taste but we tried the Frasers Vegetarian Haggis from Aldi for Burns Night.
( It was in the special offers section)
Absolutely loved it - good consistency, nice herby taste and we've just been back and bought some more to freeze

@tujeste - are you joking? 😁
Lidl's Towergate ginger nuts are worth trying if you usually avoid these biscuits for fear of losing a tooth. I'll be buying them again!

Our new lidl opened week before Christmas...had quite a few free things and just got a £5 off £10 spend on the app

If you are concerned about losing a tooth, my I suggest briefly dipping (not fully soaking) ginger biscuits front and back in a shallow dish of sweet sherry or alcohol of your choice, stand the first two up stuck together with whipped cream continue adding newly dipped biscuits glued to the previous biscuit with a dollop of whipped cream until you’ve made a long enough log of biscuit/cream alternating, coat the remaining whipped cream over the log and refrigerate, Use diagonal slices to serve which means the slices show exposed stripes of cream and Ginger biscuit. I think your teeth will be safe from breaking on that one, but can’t speak for tooth decay.

They probably are worth the discount, but it's lazy shopping and pure luck now to get there when someone puts it out on that shelf. And like the other supermarkets people just grab it all regardless of what it is. I used to get loads of red label products because I specifically had the stuff discounted in the sections I wanted food from and now nothing for a few months.

I have started to think twice about the red stickers at Aldi. I picked up a lettuce at 30% off on NYD and a month later it is still in the fridge 😶. Only a few pence, but a few pence wasted.

IIRC it was just £4.99 and Spansih I believe. This is my favourite, I was lucky enough to find it as a special at Aldi last year for about 1/2 the price it usually retails for:

I buy the Orange Wine from Aldi (the "cheaper" one at £7.75). It is supremely delicious! It is Austrian.
