Good and Bad Buys at Lidl and Aldi stores (***Please don't expire***)

Aldi & Lidl now combine tins of chicken in white sauce, and chilli.

Pre Christmas I couldn't find the latter in Lidl to my dissapointment - tried four others including M&S @ £4, Lidl my absolute favourite very meaty, lots of tomatoes and the spice isn't overpowering + dissappears quickly.

Post Christmas I spotted the mixed tray of tins in Lidl by chance, no price label. 

Then in Aldi this week the same, although it being Aldi the boxes are clearly marked with what products are inside.

I specifically remember last year (as it was my birthday) and also that Aldi promotions start Thursday and Sunday that tomorrow is when it all went to 19p

I just happen to be at the store at 8am and discovered aisles of reduced stuff.  I forgot what I had went in for!

Well following on from above.  Pleased to report good reductions again.  It's 29p not 19p on anything Christmas related.

I got a 800g delux christmas pudding for 29p and some Belgian chocolate 200g for 49p.  Bargain the way chocolate prices are.  No mince pies though.

Aldi this morning, Bramwell Cranberry sauce 9p, the fancy Specially Selected version with or without port 49p, iced mince pies 12p pack of 6 but short dated 9/1/26. a few other reductions but nothing else below 49p caught my eye or taste buds😏

Thanks, this makes it £1.20/L less expensive that the EVOO Lidl is selling atm (£8.99 for 750ml, I made a point of looking yesterday).

Next week is Greek week at Lidl so there may well be other olive oil offers.
