Thank you so much KeithP and for attaching link. Will look at it now. 👍KeithP said:
As your letter is from DRP, probably best that you start at the fourth post of the NEWBIES thread which describes exactly how you should deal with debt collectors letters.sonibee said:Hi Half_way it says the creditor is Euro Car Parks, letter is from Debt Recovery Plus. Parked in a retail Park.
But to summarise that post - ignore debt collectors letters.
Check that the address is correct on your vehicle's Registration Document (V5c).0 -
It helps no newbies to use the forum properly, to post a link to a sticky thread...I know, I know, it's helpful and patient but this OP will have no idea how they got there or where page one even is.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The letter arrived today. I have tried calling the retail park but no answer as I’m hoping they will cancel it for me. Not asking what Plan A is, will work it out . £160 just like that, no warning nothing. By the way my address hasn’t changed and I noticed another thread where someone else has had a letter from DRP for parking in 2019 too, so it seems that DRP are now back in their offices trying to earn back lost profits.Coupon-mad said:The only worry is that your car logbook is probably registered at an old address - you MUST sort that out online to the DVLA.
Annoyingly, that also means you must email DRP and tell them that the new address they traced you to is correct, and to erase the old one. Email the same to the data protection officer of the tedious PPC. Both parties must be told to erase the wrong address.
Have you not complained to the retail park yet? Admittedly I told you not to read post #1 of the NEWBIES thread, but please do, read about PLAN A and don't ask what PLAN A is (please).0 -
OK, as long as we don't now get any more threads about them!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You must put DRP out of your mine. They are pointless powerless money scammers.sonibee said:

At least three people have mentioned it...
I know you have said "my address hasn’t changed", but please check the vehicle's Registration Document (V5c) and confirm that the keeper's address on it is correct.
Please check the document - don't guess.4 -
I would love to put them out of mybeamerguy said:

mind but what to do. Can’t believe they can send letter demanding payment nearly two years after supposed contravention date. I don’t even know what time or how long I was there for 🤷🏻♀️1 -
Thank you, I will definitely check the registration document just to be sure.KeithP said:At least three people have mentioned it...

thank you to everyone for their time replying. 🙏1 -
The newbies thread is a bit confusing. I went to the fourth post and it says to ignore letters from DRP while going for plan A contacting retail park to cancel this charge? If the retail park can’t help do I still continue to ignore until a CCJ is sent out? (Seems to be the next stage if you ignore DRP)

yes, but no CCJ will be sent out because that happens if you lost in court , it is what the J meansbut you IGNORE DRP LTD , they are powerless , mithering low lifes, not worth thinking aboutyou do not ignore an official LBC giving 30 days notice of legal actionyou do not IGNORE any court claim pack from the CCBC in Northampton, known as MCOL, google itcome back for either of thosethe parking company has 6 years to start court action, so 2 years is only a third of the way through , sad but true4
