where my mum lives in devon, two young lads have set up a brewery in a shed on a farm, and another company makes surfboards from brazilian hard wood.
now that we are out of the eu, they can sell there surfboards all over the world. but when we were part of eu, the materials had to be sourced in the eu, and only sold to certian countries.

I have actually tried it, at one time it was the brew used at RHS Wisley, and it was a very nice cup of tea, loose leaf in a pot at the time
That's really good to hear that it's nice.  Best not say how much it was per pot at Wisley

The kitchen thread reminded me of:

I used to volunteer at Winchester Cathedral refectory where they used Tregothnan. It was good but hard to tell the difference from bog standard builders.

Friends tell me that visiting the 'plantation' is a good experience. Something to think about if you're holidaying in Cornwall this year.

I live around the corner from Tregothnan and it is indeed a lovely place to visit. We also have a brewery down the road and a great market for local fruit and vegetables and meat. As well as a some great distilleries including Tarquins who make some stonking gin 🍸

Tregothnan tea, home grown in Cornwall.

During lockdown 1 my retail therapy was finding niche foodstuffs online. I recommend Left Field Kombucha from Scotland, Farmison meat from Yorkshire, and Cabrito for goat meat.
    You're welcome 😄
