For me its more about buying local

I do admit to shopping in Lidl, but Lidl NI stock Northern Ireland and Eire Produce over and above anyone else's. All meat is produced on the Island of Ireland, as is the dairy etc

Vegetables, once again I buy from Northern Ireland of England,Scotland and Wales. Makes for a bit of a boring diet but luckily I don't like fruit so don't feel so deprived

When I cant buy "Made in the UK" I buy from a local independent where ever possible. They would mainly be electrical items but we have a fantastic electrical shop. Looking around my house, Bedroom furniture - Scottish - mattress - Irish - carpets - Isle of Man - sofa - English - sanitary ware - mostly Made in the UK

Ditto. Until Lockdown, I bought my veg and eggs from a farm shop that was inside a local National Trust property.  It was grown on site and the farm shop sold off the surplus.  Unfortunately, Lockdown killed that business and they haven't reopened.  (I live in hope.)  In the meantime, I've been buying most of my staples in L!dl and virtually all of it is British grown. (I'm in England.)

I have actually tried it, at one time it was the brew used at RHS Wisley, and it was a very nice cup of tea, loose leaf in a pot at the time
