I cannot rush her but I would rather she got a new one so she can have some support. I do it myself because I have two lefts hands as far as computing goes so...BUT thanks for the advise, I do appreciate it !

You appear to have misunderstood. She will get exactly the same amount of support with any of the devices. All direct from DELL and all with the same warranty. If she wants Premium Support on new or refurbished she will have to pay extra.marialionza said:J_B said:

Better to buy the refurb device; the new one is....nowhere as good as the refurb. That is putting it mildly.1 -
last time(every time I think) I bought from dell if you take the included warranty not long after they try to sell an upgrade to you cheaper even 1/2 price.
Always been a fan of dell, used at work and outlet have produced the odd bargain, got harder when the scrapers got in on the act.
They also play the bus game, none for ages then a few come along all at once.J_B said:

As most of us don't price watch insentiently on everything what I prefer to do when looking for something is watch the deals for a while to see what the price points are then look out for an outlier that has something extra or one that is on point price wise.
HUKD is quite good for that as there are a few that are constantly watching0 -

WHAT ???????????? "...the new one is....nowhere as good as the refurb"... How can it be possible? Every five years I buy a new Dell pc

thinking it was a better option ! Also because they give you Support for 5 years... I can't believe it !

I'm sure we would all like to know about the five year support from DELL to which you refer. First I have heard of it.1 -

My pc has a 5 year support, but I bought it new. I don't know if it works for refurbished.
