So going back to my initial question?elsien said:Can you not go back to them and ask for the remainder of the 12 weeks you didn't get first time round, rather than applying for a new offer. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Yes of course I’ll try this first but considering options if I can’t.(Sorry I did see this yday but forgot to reply)Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
To be honest, for most people, the best option is to forego the gym membership entirely. Unless you have a specific fitness or strength goal, or are in need of specific equipment or coaching, you'll get an enormous health benefit from walking, wheeling or cycling to the gym, waving through the window free of charge, and going back home.0

Reality is for most people, If its weight then diet/calorie control is 90% of the solution.Aylesbury_Duck said:To be honest, for most people, the best option is to forego the gym membership entirely. Not taking away from the benefits of exercise but in this context of high BMI then intake is king2 -
Just take your custom elsewhere and join a gym that doesn’t discriminate against you.Ms_Chocaholic said:Hi allI previously joined a free 12 week gym membership pre-Covid and now that gyms are open again I thought I would look at re-joining (I think you can only get the free 12 weeks once - I didn't get the free 12 weeks previously as I my induction and then everything closed for Covid).Anyway, the criteria appears to have changed, this is what it says:You need to be over 18A resident of the areaBoth of which I qualify for.It then refers to BMI criteria:A body mass index of 30+
ORA body mass index of 25 and from a black or minority ethnic groupORA body mass index of 25 with some comorbitiesIt therefore seems to me (though happy to be correct) that as I probably have a BMI of over 25 but I am white I do not qualify (I do not have any comorbidities and unlikely my bmi over 30).Is this how you read it?If so, is this discriminatory?0 -

Which is probably any of them. I think the point is that OP wants a 12 week free trial, which somewhat limits the options.Gavin83 said:

Yes that's right, I don't want to join a gym but to get it free for 12 weeks to swim and book to play badminton would be a bonus.
