You do not owe a thing. Get legal advice (CAB / home insurance) and get it now.Sarahross974 said:Should I pay?

MSE guide says "If you aren't told about your cancellation rights in writing, you have up to a year and 14 days to cancel the contract".I guess, the contact does say 7 days - and this is against the law. Whether this can be interpreted as the OP wasn't told at all (about the actual rights), I don't know.

Its this ambiguity and that the OP did everything remotely. Did she actually sign up to anything?grumbler said:Rosa_Damascena said:

Anglian seem to be well-practiced in the art of extortion and knowing this is the case, their sales team should be ashamed of themselves. No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Physical signature normally is not needed for a contract to be valid.ETA: However, if the OP travelled to their office to sign it, it's what the contract says, not 14 days.

Do you have a copy of this contract dated 12/02/21, and had you attempted to cancel within 14 days ?Also, when and where was this contract signed ?Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Hello, yes I have a copy of the contract but we tried to cancel after the 14 day period sadly but I still don't understand why would we owe them when they've done nothing? They haven't been to my house, measured or anything.
It was signed via online on the same date0 -
