Thank you @in_need_of_direction, @milann and @beanielou. 😘
We haven't gone up town for the exhibition today as I still felt a bit washed out this morning when I got up. DD had booked a nice Indian restaurant for lunch but I think I would have veered off this anyway as it would have been spicy. I'm rather gutted not to have seen the exhibition but didn't know if I'd really have felt up to quite a few hours walking/stopping around. DD said not to worry because she has tons of work on and will do a bit of WFH today. We can also watch a few things on the TV together.SCRIMPY MSE THINGS
I bought some shower crème whilst I was out yesterday as well as the food bits.Nothing else today so a NSD.WEIGHT
Yesterday was pretty bad food-wise as I really didn't feel like eating anything. I did make myself have two slices of toast and two scrambled eggs but that's all. A shocking 353 calories all day!
i began to feel better food wise by lunchtime today so I've had two slices of toast, three scrambled eggs and a couple of cherry tomatoes. I'm also going to have just one apple and yogurt late afternoon and have dinner by 8pm tonight. I do have some salmon and I can have this with wholegrain rice and mixed veg.At least my stomach has settled down and stopped gurgling so hopefully I'm back to normal now. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Thank you @Sarahwithlove and @milann. 😀
We all had a great time at the family anniversary dinner. DSis did a fantastic job with the venue and everything went off beautifully. It was lovely too to see relations that we hadn't seen in a while.A few of us stayed overnight at the venue and after breakfast DD and I went back to DSis's for a few hours before going back to mine where we chilled for the rest of the day. This morning DD went to her London office to work for a few hours before heading back up north. I'll miss her as I won't see her again till next month. 😢
I did some jobs around the flat then went out later to have my flu/Covid jabs at the local pharmacy. Lovely day today - sunny and quite warm - I didn't need a jacket.I still haven't put the storage heaters on yet.Tomorrow I have Pilates and gym in the morning then off for my monthly pedicure in the afternoon.SCRIMPY MSE THINGS
Nothing spent on Saturday as some family members paid for everything at the venue, apart from the taxi there and my gift, which was cash as that was what was preferred. No spends on Sunday as DD got the fare for the Uber home.Today all was spent was some salad leaves at the Co-op and this week's lottery.WEIGHT
I've felt ok since my wobble last week and the food intake has been going well.At the dinner the only alcohol I consumed all evening was half a glass of Kir Royale on arrival and then three glasses of champagne. I also drank quite a bit of water. Food wise I didn't have a starter but nibbled on a small roll and then ate most of my roast lamb and veg, but only half of my potato dauphinois. I had a small lemon meringue tart for dessert with coffee afterwards. We went on till quite late and a lovely cheeseboard then made its appearance, and where formerly I would have had a nice large plateful! This time I had a few small pieces of Stilton and Camembert and a couple of grapes. Quite a few people commented on my weight loss which was gratifying as they're not aware I'm on Mounjaro, although when I look in the mirror I still can't see it! I do feel so much better though. It's End of Week 8 weigh in and Mounjaro day tomorrow and I am going up to 7.5mg for the next four weeks. However as I had my flu/covid jabs today, I will see if I experience any ill effects tomorrow. If so, I'll leave the Mounjaro for a few days. Touch wood, I don't usually feel bad with flu and covid jabs apart from slightly sore arms, and at the time of writing this I feel fine, but I'll monitor it tomorrow morning. The End Week 8 average calorie consumption has worked out at 1327 per day which I'm chuffed about as I've had an evening out eating and drinking. My protein and fibre intake has been good and saturated fat and salt consumption has been low. 😀👍Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Glad you had a lovely time. I struggled to notice a difference until I took a picture of my face and then compared it to the ones at end of August and the difference is massive. Did you take any measurements when you started? As seeing where you've lost inches or cms might help you see it. If not I'd recommend taking some now so you have a baseline for future*Dad loan - £5300 - £7300

Thanks @beanielou and @Sarahwithlove. 😀
Sarahwithlove - I did take photos on the first day I started Mounjaro - full on and side photos, plus I tried on, and photographed, me in some jeans (that I couldn't even button up) as a monthly reference point going forward. I want to compare these at the end of each calendar month date from when I started Mounjaro - these will be my 'Non-Scale Victories. ' At the end of the first month I did notice a little less of me around the stomach and in fact could actually button up the jeans which was a result. The end of my second calendar month is this Friday so I'll check again then with the photos, plus the jeans. I also found a belted mac and outdoor jacket that I couldn't do up so I'll be using these as well.I woke up today and have felt fine after the flu/covid jabs yesterday, apart from the obligatory sore arms! I had my Pilates session and then gym and this afternoon had my monthly pedicure which I always enjoy as I find it so relaxing.A good friend is calling me this evening for a chat then it's 'Bake Off' night so I'll be watching that and will also record 'Marks and Spencer - Dressing The Nation' to watch later as I really enjoy this series. It's like the Alan Carr interior design contest series only for fashion instead!

Spends today were Pilates, gym and pedicure, plus I need some ryvitas.I really must get myself in gear tomorrow and start to sort out how much I can put into my DCS pension, plus see about my household insurance which is ending this month.WEIGHT
I lost 1.6lbs today on weigh-in which is a good result - nearly 1 stone 12lbs lost now in 8 weeks. I'm pleased with this as I'm happy if I lose between 1-2lbs weekly. 😀
As I felt ok today after the flu/covid jabs, I took my weekly Mounjaro dose - the first dose of 7.5mg. Hopefully not many side effects coming my way this week!😳
Dinner tonight is M&S jumbo fish fingers which I've taken a real liking to, plus mixed veg and wholegrain and red rice. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Enjoy your chat this evening. I’m meeting a friend tomorrow. It’s good to catch up 👍January spends - £587.581 -
Kir Royale is very nice @milann, but I think the bar staff went a little heavy on the crème de cassis! It was very sweet! Couldn't drink a lot of it!😂
