Sorry to hear that, taken far too young. Unfortunately lung cancer is one of those cancers that symptoms often don’t show until too late. Life can be so unfair. I don’t make resolutions either, I just try to make improvements as and when I see fit.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Lung cancer (DH Died from this at 58) is so horrible, it sneaks up and by the time it’s found it’s normally too late for a cure. ((hugs)) xSealed pot challenge 822

So sorry to hear this @Seasidegal58. Take care of yourself as the emotional impact can come and go in waves, I find. When do you next see your friend? Love Humdinger xx1

Thanks @Sun_Addict - yes, you're right about lung cancer - it happened with my dad too - he wasn't aware of the symptoms until the cancer was quite far gone.Sun_Addict said:Sorry to hear that, taken far too young. Thanks @in_need_of_direction - my friend and her husband never had children but have a very large circle of friends as they were very social and always out and about. Quite a few live local to her and they have been rallying round. Her sister and brother in law are with her at the moment. They live overseas now but had already booked a Christmas/New Year trip to see my friend and her husband as well as the brother in law's family. It's so sad as because of the pandemic this is the first time they have met up in nearly three years. ☹️in_need_of_direction said:Condolences on your loss especially at this time of year.
