Did you know you don't actually have to go to your account to see if you have won. There is the prize checker fior which you just need your holders number, which is not your account number. You don't need all the security for it & can usually check it a day earlier.

I haven't disappeared to an island paradise with my lottery winnings as £150 wouldn't get me very far I'm afraid!
I had a really nice Christmas spent with DSis and her family and last Thursday I flew up to Scotland where I'm currently staying with DD and her OH until Friday. We had a quiet New Year's Eve last night but we toasted it in with some bubbles and nibbles - it's good to be up here. The snow has disappeared here but is still thick on the mountains and some inland parts. It has been very cold though.This morning I had some bad news in that one of my good friend's husband passed away this morning - I mentioned him previously in my diary - his lung cancer was only diagnosed some weeks ago and he has gone downhill since. I can't believe he's here no more as he was only 59 (60th birthday would have been Tuesday) and he was fit for his age. The first day of the New Year has taken on a sad time for me I'm afraid. 😞
MSE SCRIMPY THINGS
Well it's the first day today of the new month and new year. I've updated my YNAB categories and had a look at my budget. I've increased my food/household budget by another £20 monthly and will be looking at other categories to see if I can make any other savings but basically all is looking ok.I'm not making any NY resolutions either as I never seem to keep them - I'll just carry on as usual.NSD today.Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
