Thank you @EssexHebridean.I got back home on Tuesday afternoon. I was delayed on the train going south by 40 minutes and put a claim in to the train company. I was quite impressed - they returned £17.65 onto my credit card the next day.On Wednesday I had my nails done and put some money over to DSis's account for little nephew's Xmas present. He wants a PS5 box for Christmas so all the family are contributing but he's been told he won't be getting anything else apart from a few small stocking filler bits to open on Christmas morning.
Thursday I went out with DSis and her work mates to see 'Hamilton'. What did I think of it - hmmmmm - put it this way, I won't be rushing back to see it again. Very clever and an excellent cast but a lot of it was rap which I didn't think would bother me, however they were rapping so fast that I couldn't understand the words and as there was no actual dialogue I got a bit lost. DSis hated it and said she couldn't believe she had wasted her money on the ticket! Still we had a nice meal afterwards at one of our favourite restaurants so it wasn't all bad!🤣
Friday was gym day and packing for my trip to Scotland whereby I flew up yesterday. DD's OH is joining her in the North of England for a week so I'm up here dog sitting. He drove off this morning so I'm in the living room with the two dogs (or Bears as we call them) lying here beside me. After a mixed weather bag today we now have a storm and torrential rain. I think we've some sun tomorrow - hopefully.MSE SCRIMPY THINGS
Apart from above, spends were taxi, share of limo fare to theatre, drinks, lotto, car to and breakfast at airport. At least I'll be saving some money on the electricity bill as I've been away. I did my meter reading on Friday and got my bill back. Without my government discount I'd be paying nearly £92 per month which is up £50 per month since before the increases this year! And I have a small flat!Anyway it's a NSD today!👍Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Thanks @milann @beanielou and @EssexHebridean 😀. Milann - it will be a very slobbery and hairy hug!🤣
The weather here's been mixed yesterday and today - sunny until afternoon then cloudy with some rain. A bit chillier than down south, but still not as cold as you would expect for this time of year. It doesn't get really light here at the moment till 9am and getting dark by 3.30pm.I've been taking the bears out for a walk with the neighbour - or rather he walks them because of my knee and I walk his border collie who is still quite young and loves digging holes!🤣. Once it gets dark the bears both get rather barky as the deer come down from the hill quite close to the house. You can't see them obviously but the dogs can smell and hear them.I've been spending the day poodling round with a bit if housework and reading - I'm currently reading Murder in Mustique which is an Agatha Christie type whodunnit by Anne Glenconner. She and her husband owned the Caribbean Island of Mustique where they held fabulous parties in the 70s and 80s. She was a great friend and lady in waiting to Princess Margaret who had a house there. The story is really rather good and I'm enjoying it. 👍
Tomorrow morning there is a plumber coming round to service the boiler and a glazier who is finishing up some jobs where DD and OH have had new windows recently fitted.MSE SCRIMPY THINGS
My state pension arrived and is waiting to be assigned to YNAB on the 1st. I also received my £500 winter fuel payment which will go straight into the Electric category. Spends have been my monthly Amex credit card bill, payment to Marisota for two party style tops I bought recently, and a contribution to The Times Christmas Charity Appeal. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

You can just imagine the glamorous parties in the 70s/80s in Mustique. I often get quite nostalgic for the glamour of those days. The party tops sound lovely, it’s that time of year 😃I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1
