Well done on the stone loss 👏👏 I had a bit of a wake up call. I had an assessment at the gym when they were putting an easy programme together for me…..it said my biological age was 14 years older than my actual age 😂😂😂😂 I wasn’t happy with that AT ALL 😏😳😂😏😳😂 I think that has focused me more than anything else. I’m hoping when I have my next assessment in 6 months I’ve changed that 😉
I’ve heard The Elvis film is great from a few people. I might have to see that one.

Thank you @Sun_Addict and @TallGirl for your support and encouragement!👍😃

Thanks @in_need_of_direction - it's good to have things to look forward to!😃

@milann - oh wow! That must have shaken you up!  You sometimes find these questionnaires in magazines and newspapers where you can check your biological age. I haven't done one for a while but when I do I find my weight and blood pressure always age me!  There was one question I read whereby you had to sit on the floor cross legged and then get up from that position without holding on to anything or using your hands on the floor. My DD was staying with me at the time and she is very fit but still couldn't do it!😳. If you passed this test I'm sure it would have revealed that your biological age is ten!🤣

The weather was really hot again today but at least there was a bit of a breeze. This morning I went to the gym - the PT increased my reps on some exercises and my weight on some others. It was hard but I felt very pleased when I finished the session. I have another on Wednesday.

Afterwards I took my new reading glasses to the opticians as I felt they needed tightening and picked up some glasses for my friend who is under the weather and couldn't get out. I bought some fruit in the greengrocer and some rice cakes and posted little nephew's birthday card. I dropped off my friend's glasses and had a cuppa with her. She's been trying so hard to get a doctor 's appointment but is having trouble getting through to them. At one time if you were waiting on the line the automated message would tell you how many people were in front of you in the queue but the surgery has even stopped doing that so you never know now roughly how long you have to wait!😠

This afternoon I watched an old Hercule Poirot episode and dozed off!😵

    SCRIMPY MSE THINGS
Apart from the PT and bits of grocery I ordered my first Xmas pressie on Amazon!🎄I regularly watch a fashion influencer on YouTube called Emma Hill as I love her minimalist and relaxed style. She is also renovating her home at the moment and I really like her taste - it's just the sort of thing I'd like next time I upgrade the flat. She made an episode recently on how she makes her own scented candles. I'm more of a diffuser person than candle but it was interesting to watch as it didn't seem to involve as much faff as I would have thought and certainly works out a lot cheaper than if you buy good scented candles.  Anyway she had these rather nice pair of black candle snuffers and also a wick trimmer and left the details on her YouTube channel. DSis loves candles and always has some really nice ones burning away so I thought I'd buy her these as they are very stylish and also come with a wick dipper as a three piece set. They were £9.99. 👍

That's true @dawnybabes.👍.  The candle kit gift is for DSis who lives relatively local so I can take all her family's presents with me when I visit over Christmas.  However, I always buy DD's OH a couple of pairs of the same boxer shorts each Christmas as he likes them so much, so if I order them now I can take them up with me to Scotland in a few weeks time and it will save doing it at the New Year!👍😃.

Well done on buying Christmas presents nice and early. Sounds ideal. Best to get organised. I find it so hard to buy for adult children as they have everything and just get things as they want them. My dd has just moved house….same town but a house with a bigger garden and parking. I’m hoping when I see it, it’ll give me some inspiration for their Christmas presents 🤞
